Time for a new service garage

Hi All

Been ages since I've posted, and I'm back to asking complete newby stuff!

My friends at the Garage in Godalming seem to have shut up shop since David retired, so I'm looking for someone to take over the oily work.

I've heard nothing but good about Andy at APM, and within a similar distance are Elmwood at Epsom, Mole Valley near Capel and TVR101 over at Farnham. Does anyone have current experience of them and could give me a view, please? Have I missed anyone? I'm based in sunny Guildford...

I've only heard good stuff about Dan @ Taylor TVR in Kent, Jason @ Str8six, Andy @ APM and TVR 101 all within a sensible distance of you.

I use Elmwood and they do a fine job for me. Lead Mech Pete is ex-Mole Valley TVR (the original one) from back in the day. Good value too. Only used Mole Valley (the new one) once when Elmwood were overloaded and found them less engaging and more expensive but the work they did was fine.

David is still about. I spoke to him several months ago and he was moving to a smaller unit...P.S I'm based in Guildford too, although I haven't seen your car around

That's good news, nice guy to deal with, and I was very happy with a couple of small jobs he did for me (wishbone bush replacements).

I appreciate the update on David. I had got the impression from talking to him that he had all but retired.
