Hi All, I thought the bulb had blown on my rev counter but it seems to be there's no voltage at the contacts of the bulb socket under the rubber grommet. Anyone had similar issue?

There's two lights looking at the wiring diagram. Trace it back to the plug? Any other lights out as they'll share a common circuit

Ok, thanks Byker, I'll have a look take a few pics. I read somewhere there may be a change up light built into the rev counter on the Cerb. Could the second bulb be this?

From looking at the wiring diagram there are two light bulbs for the Tachometer, and there is also the change up light

Easiest way to test is get a 12V battery (or a 9V square battery will do) and run the positive and negative to either side of the bulb (Red / White wire for the lights)

9V will be a bit dimmer (obviously!), but should light - here's me testing a dashboard light with a jump starter the other day...

Seems really odd but there's only one rubber grommet on the rev counter which gives access to a bulb. I'll get the dash all apart again and take some pics.

Nice!

Not to railroad the thread but can you remember what LED bulbs you used to replace the OEM ones?

It looks like the main lights are 2.2W 12W W5W T10 size, and the smaller ones are W2.3W T5 size (at a guess)?

Picture of the speedo on my desk for those in the know (because everyone needs a TVR speedo on their desk at work...)

About 10 years ago but the bulbs are mentioned int he thread I linked before. Bulb layout, bulb types

i.e.

Also - replace the interior light bulbs for cool white. Amazingly brighter cabin.

Discovered yesterday that the later cars have only 1 bulb in the speedo and rev counter. Gonna try out some led ones today. I've found the socket for the bulb in the rev gauge has no power. Think I'm going to need to get the gauge looked at. The single leds I have are not bright enough so I need to source some others.
