Center console

I have some issues with wire running under the center console to the controls in the boot.

Do any one have any experience removing the center console (surrounding the gearbox)?

See my comments part way down this thread. It isn't too bad a job but if you want to take it right out yo need to remove the passenger seat and drop the dashboard with the temperature capillary down through the hole in the console. Be carefull with the capillary!!
