Project wanted
Discussion
I reckon you're about five years too late
Back at the end of the financial crisis you could buy almost any classic car, sit on it, and make 2, 3 or 4 times your ante, depending on the marque.
Now the market has normalised, you will struggle to find a 'project' because everyone thinks their car is special
The real question is are you buying an investment opportunity?
or
Are you buying a 20 year old keeper to restore?
You could keep an eye on TVRGlen as they used to sell damaged Cerbs, I think there was one fire damaged Cerb that was successfully brought back to life a couple of years ago, but the asking price seemed very high indeed considering the work needed.

Agree with Paul - difficult to find a car which isn't already having a body-off restoration at the moment as far as I can tell!
The only other person I know breaks them is Steve Strange via eBay but I'm not sure what they have bar a sub frame and half a body - definitely a project there!!!
The only other one I saw recently was this one which I think came up on eBay - you might be able to find it from the pictures I kept - attached below

There's a non-runner on eBay
Good spot Paul and yes the engine does look like it got pretty damp over it's storage period - link to the above added - made we wonder what happened to that Yellow one that was for sale a few years ago after taking a dip into a pond or similarI had a quick scoot through the other Cerberas for sale and prices seem good at £20k+ with only one on the £20k border - has a fire extinguisher like mine so obviously almost a compulsory purchase for Cerbera owners
