Wing Mirror motor Volvo S70 works - £10

This may have been done before, so sorry if repost.
My passenger mirror motor actuator was broken on my Chimaera 400, so I had a quick look for a similar actuator on Ebay.
The Volvo V60, S70, 850, V40 etc looked almost identical. I bought one off ebay (£10 inc delivery) to try it and the rear shell is slightly different and the mountings are not as deep. You can however gently pull this rear shell off and then remove the chrome metal inserts (they are just push fit). If you then take the rear shell and pins from the existing TVR mirror they will fit onto the new actuator.
I have just fitted it and everything seems to work well. Obviously you need the original mirror and plastic rear mount on the mirror.
