Hi all, I am after a high level F1 panel does anyone have one they would be OK to exchange for beer tokens?

Cheers Gruffalo.

Strangely I have one of these that my better half has been pinging me to move on for quite a while

I bought along with a spare scuttle panel in this colour - I'll try and take a few photos for you if of interest

Sorry that is the F2 panel, I need the one in front of the engine if you have a mk2 version knocking around?

which brings the question of why the design changed and the location of the screen wash bottle? Was this to channel all the hot air from the rad under the engine? Does it make any difference?

I am not sure, I do seem to remember hearing people talk about reducing under bonnet temps.

I need the later one because I have fitted electric PAS and the original low down panel will not fit over the pump and now, as I am about to paint the car it seems a good idea to try and find a panel that will fit so it can be sprayed at the same time.

Yes, sorry my reply wasn't super clear!

I bought a spare 'scuttle' (as per the photo) _as well as_ a matching front Mk2 panel that looks like this

My intent was to use the 'scuttle' to test out locations for water jets so that I could pass the MOT without limping along with cr*p bits of pipe tied to the wipers, and the same guy had the lower panel so I bought that too

Plan with that was to spray it to match the Nightfire Red of my car, but looking at I'm not even sure it would fit the engine bay of an early 4.2 as the one I have is much smaller in depth

The one I have on my car is more like this

although their seem to be quite a few different ones from looking around!

So is there an advantage and is it possible to fit the later (flat with TVR logo) type in place of the earlier low cut type.

OP yours looks to be the earlier low cut type with the triangular middle section but the washer bottle filler isn't in the centre ?

on the last cerbera's the water bottle filler is right off to the side, handily under one on the air intake pipes
