Thinking of selling up
Discussion
It has been a long run with TVR 11 years now for me. The Cerbera is getting no attention at all as its been laid up for nearly 3 years. I have just ordered a service kit for it and plan to get it in for a MOT soon and stick it on the market, I have lost the interest in it and cars in general now so i feel its time to let someone else have the fun out of a great car.

Ha ha , no not kids yet!!!! , Scuba Diving to be honest. I think I am just one of these people who becomes obsessed with a hobby. Also the roads are so bad in my part of the country with pot holes I could not bring my self to destroy the Cerb.
That’s exactly why I gave up on my Tuscan. The roads are toilet. The reality is driving on uneven, delaminated road surfaces is hopeless in a tvr. m4tti said:

But the noise the wild interior space age style the exterior even today they are so fresh. There are not many TVRs I dislike appearance wise and none on the power unit. Lovely lovely cars.

We won’t go there. But let’s just say I’ve literally taken apart every single nut and bolt on one and “lovely, lovely” isn’t an accurate summary. There are not many TVRs I dislike appearance wise and none on the power unit. Lovely lovely cars.

Scotty_d - where in Scotland are you?
Plenty good roads up my way (Dundee, East coast) which are perfectly TVR friendly
Kilmarnock, Ayrshire and the roads are shocking after the last few winters, they just fill the pot holes badly, my daily drive is a land rover and I am very glad for that!Plenty good roads up my way (Dundee, East coast) which are perfectly TVR friendly
My roads in Surrey are appalling. Pot holes, cheap repairs and full of cyclists.
So TVR unfriendly.
I use mine less for those reasons alone which is a sad thing.
Thinking about a cerb but to be honest, these sort of cars are wasted down here.
If you're not using it, sell it as another has said and give someone else the pleasure.

Yep, same. I also understand not wanting to go there. Once you have, you don't speak of these things. You just don't. At least not until you're in a nursing home suffering from dementia and you become unable to say anything apart from "Diff bush" on loop.
