Looking though the classifieds I niticed this bad boy. There certainly been a lot of work put into it, but what do you all think about it? Perhaps it would look better in the flesh but I think its lost something in the modification. The front headlights remind me of an RV8 for some reason.

Not for those who like originality.

I am sure those wide trackday tyres will be great on a cold wet night in aqua plaining conditions.

If you like the boy racer look, then it could be for you, and I have seen much worse.

hehe

I wonder what weight those tyres are rated for. Suspension etc might be spot on for all I know but if those things aren’t soft walled you’ll be looking for new teeth implants biglaugh

I quiet liked it as he started doing it but your messing with a timeless design, in the end it just looks American to me. Cobra sort of inspired. Brave as feck to do it though.

It's been listed on and off for over 12 months. Frequently on ebay too, but has had a £2k reduction I think. Possibly a different trader?

Yeah, did it then put it up forsale, you might be right about the other trader or a mate in the trade.
Be interesting to drive as that’s the acid test of why we really own them, the fact the original bodies just look right doesn’t help smile

Thanks BD for fixing the link.

I agree with you all that, from that side profile picture at least, it doesn't look good. I would be interested to see how it handles on the right road with those huge rear tyres.

When I saw the build on this, always thought the arches were too large and not in proportion with the rest of the car.

IMO should have used the Cerb arch extensions from the German (?) company, can't remember the name or link offhand - which were designed for the Cerb lines from the start, and are much more in proportion with the lines of the design...

Just my 2p...

It is. Can't find it with a 2 second search though wink

The blue and/or red one in the following thread have the Cerbera-specific arches on... Should have used these IMO...
