Well I bit the bullet and replaced the Griff's interior. Out with the 26 year old cracked and worn Magnolia, in with Vanilla with black stitching and piping.

Love that. Very close to the original factory finish, none of this quilting/straking nonsense or excess alcantara. Classy.

Thank you for your comments. The leather is a really soft style and feels great to the touch. Also the smell of new leather is fantastic. Going to be bit of a sod to keep clean.

I like that, as said, nice and simple.... classy bow

Won't be as rude as to ask "how much" but who did it?

Had the carpets replaced in my Chimaera by these guys a couple of months ago - very pleased with their work and reasonable price

Those are lights (replacing the black bar).

Op. - lovely job. After each before and after pic I can hear the swooshing sound from Homes under the Hammer when they do the big reveal :-)

Op that looks very nice and also a huge improvement on the original colour.thumbup

I'm being super picky now but to me the bolsters on the central tunnel look like they need a tad more stuffing/ foam whatever it is under there??

not meant as a criticism just a question?

The bolsters on the early Griffs had a poor finish as they butt up to the carpet which you can see from the original pictures where the carpet peels back showing the glue. The later Griffs had this sorted. I tried to purchase some 500 Griff bolsters but without any joy. Guy at West Country Trimmers very kindly altered my original bolsters to affect a much neater finish. The new leather is much finer/softer than the original magnolia which may show as slight indents.

Hope this clarifies your question thumbup
