Grantura engine rebuild? Can anyone elaborate?? Or is this another "GT" 4.2 rebuild?

Looking for my first Cerb and this one threw me.

It certainly looks pretty clean in the photos

But it's hardly moved in the last ten years, which doesn't bode well

Yeah thats a consideration.. Along with it being the opposite end of the country! biggrin

Also noticed these shells in the background of one of the photos if anyone is interested.

The hunt continues...

Ah... that looks like a TVR Glen car - just so you know - search the forums for more information but he does rescue a lot of TVRs and Lotus'

Glen is probably referring to an engine rebuild done by John Reid of Grantura Engineering/Readman Racing

Politest way to put it, is do your research and maybe ask on the Cerb group on Facebook before purchasing from them..

As for the car.. It has been for sale for a loooooooooong time. Again. Speaks volumes.

Thanks for the input all, not planning on rushing on any purchase - still in the deep research phase (I'm "one of those" buyers) and the Grantura spec comment stumped me.

Have requested to join the Cerb group on FB and will ask more Q's on there too.

Ta muchly,
Mac
