I notice the odd bank lambda still spends a bit of time at 0.01, is this lean or rich?

Drove her in to work this morning..

Still loads better.. Idle slightly high, and there is a pull away stutter still present, and an occasional 3k miss, but the improvement is night and day.

I think I have worked out what the remaining stutter is.. Play in the even throttle arm. Which I think can be taken up with a spring.

The arm connecting the rod linking the 2 banks to the spindle running through the throttle bodies? There's a grub screw holding the arm on and, on the 4.2 arrangement at least, it's on the underside. Maybe check that's not vibrated loose?

Will find out later.. It was much better, but when I tightened the arm, it threw the bank balance out, I did tweak it based on TPS values, but not quite close enough. Tweaked it properly this morning, but raining currently.

Good news.

If you've the original throttle arm, it might be worth replacing with a threaded bar and some ball joint sockets.
Some made them using threaded bar and joint ends.
https://www.ondrives.com/search?cid=0&q=ras5

Or you can go better. You need 1 each of the 5mm ones CFF.00.05 and CFF.00.05LH
https://www.ondrives.com/search?cid=0&q=CFF.00...

Model car's have reverse threaded turnbuckels such as

Some made them

I have one - it's really good for setting up and maintaining the throttles.

Not a bad shout for a future mod.. My ends are getting a bit sticky to adjust.

Well worth replacing with rose joints, but there are more affordable options
