I have tried everything - I've done it before but I can't remember how.

Do you experienced Peeps use a special tool ?

I saw this in the states but they don't export to Europe banghead

Um, push it? Possibly using a length of metal to push on the top of the socket on the end of the lead if particularly obstinate.

If you're refitting used leads then you might find the connection needs a bit of tightening up with some pliers or similar before fitting to give the solid click of a well fitted lead.

Thanks Will - what I had forgotten was the point of leverage required - which, for me, is essentially this....

Once on, I did the checklist, the last entry on which is "Wake the Kraken"
and, after changing batteries, she breathed....

28 months and she lives !!!!!!

Excellent news! You might want to hide the photo though. I know Cerberas are exciting but you dont need to mount them biggrin

May be a bit late now you've got it back in but I bought a set of long reach pliers that include a pair with the same jaws, also very useful for pulling pipes off.

Cheers Colin,

Those look like a superb set.

Unfortunately I had already made a $69 purchase in order to guarantee the Karma of return... biglaugh
