I finally got chance to use a Christmas present (Dragy) last week, all be it on my daily commuter/tractor.

However, when looking on the Dragy app, I came across this from a 4.5 Cerbera

8.6 seconds 100-200, seems like a great effort.

Looking at the acceleration/speed graph, it looks like he started in 3rd gear and just did the One shift.

I was thinking at 100 kph, you’d have more power on tap in second gear, but it’d be down to how much time you lost on a cross box gear change, versus the straight change from 3rd to 4th.

I’ve seen the stats for the LS powered cars before, but are there any other GPS stats for the factory engined cars, lurking about ?

Edit... Just checked the Dragy profile, and this maybe a 4.7L

Whats that - 62mph to around 125mph? Thats effectively third gear all the way isn't it, so not surprising?

I think 3rd on mine is about 15mph per 1k revs, so I’m changing gear around 105 mph.

That graph looks like he changed gear around 100 mph (160kph)

Exactly the same figure as the M2 CS with 450 bhp, and a single manual gear change.

8.6 from 62 to 125 is keen for a standard Cerbera.
Paul Chance covering the 1/4 mile in 10.6 with 600 bhp under the bonnet would equate to around 7.5 seconds.

I'll have to get mine out and see, but from memory it varies but I do about 40mph in each gear. I've pulled 120+ in 3rd, recorded 157 in 4th (3/4 mile runway runs)

I seem to recall my gearing is 7, 11, 15, 21, 25 mph per 1000 revs in each gear.

I think 112 mph is the most I’ve ever got from 3rd gear smile

My speedometer over-reads to a comical extent, could probably get 100 in second.
But I’ve certainly never seen 7500rpm, not in any gear.

Ha biggrin

Is it a standard 4.5 ? Your Dragy profile mentions 4.7, so I wasn’t sure if it was a typo.

I’ll try a 100-200 myself, once I get an MOT smile

Blimey.... Just seen your latest results smile

Looks like you held onto 3rd gear longer and changed up at about 110 mph.

Have you tried any runs using a 2nd gear start ?

Gear change looks like it saps about 0.6 of a second, so in a half decent auto, that’s a very low 7 second 100-200 smile

Been out in mine today
at 3K revs
2nd gear 30mph
3rd gear 50mph
4th gear 64mph
5th gear 80mph

So about the same, which does put me around 125 at 7.5k revs which means I have seen 130 on the speedo as the beeper limiter sounds
I did pull 72 on the dash cam gps graph today in second (113kph displayed on screen) as I overtook in second to the rev limit beeper...

Only done it from 3rd mate, if I was to do it from 2nd I’d end up changing gear twice which would be slower. Gonna try for a high 6 soon which would be good
