The lack of an option for a new rack could be a real problem for our cars moving forwards. Would there be enough interest from owners / specialists in commissioning a replacement rack from the likes of

Thinking about the issues some have had with the pump, what about options for electric?

Whilst a new bespoke rack would be the best option I think adapting an existing rack is the better option.
Cerbs, Chims and Griff all use that same PAS racks, certain parts are available, some bit definitely not. Perhaps the parts that aren't available to get them made.
I must be one of the few people in the car driving world that likes an electric rack, I'd happily whack one on if it fitted. Cerbs, Chims and Griff all use that same PAS racks, certain parts are available, some bit definitely not. Perhaps the parts that aren't available to get them made.
I'll consider myself fortunate that mine is still not bad at all considering.

The electric rack in my Smart Roadster is OK, but I can't claim to have really bonded with it, however that is 20 year old plus technology
