Handbrake itself comes off with a couple of bolts, I lifted the centre console carpet and vinyl/leather stuff up

Hang on, will see if I have a pic

No I maybe didn’t need to, I did (just in case). Actually, thinking about it, you might need to remove it to get it to clear the hole but the bolts don’t go through the body

Wow handbrake removal was fun without trying to remove centre console why did they not make it two parts lol. Anyway. We have now raised the body by 6inchs. Not measured but just a guess smile

Next time I go there we lift all way and disconnect last few items

It's tough job on your own.

fking hell I can’t think how to possibly do it on your own.

We had 3x people, one guy who knew what he was doing, me and my teenage son. hehe

Lifting table at the back, engine hoist tat the front with a scaffold board between the arches and trolley jacks in various places as required. Plus occasional jumping up and down on the chassis

If you’re on Instagram I have a little Timelapse here:

cheers , well its very hard on own lol ...might make for a great video if i end up breaking or tipping over the shell ..

next phase is to get it past the engine .. then i think we nearly there to roll out chassis ...found a load of 2x4 o hoping i can make some stand lol

using engine hoist at front , jack at back ..its not sketchy at all

With the wooden frame I used a couple of these for my Tuscan body lift.

Ok. Another evening. We upto about 12inchs high now. Wife reckons.

We stuck on exhausts. Yes. I was trying to chest system by leaving engine in , maybe with a few of you and some
Lube we could make it. Might try and take manfiold off. But I might have to remove engine

Anyway. Beer in hand. Bed soon.

well lost track of how many evenings i done .. but farmer lent me a " A frame crane" with my chain hoist attached to that , we have the body off !! i am not saying it was safe , christ it was sketchy ... but engine was left in , and the use of a porta power to push the body past the last part of the exhaust manifold we had separation ...

Now a quick 3 day paint job on the body before the weather changes

I watched your recent YouTube vid and subscribed to your channel. The engine sounded like classic AJP on turnover smile.

I wish you the best of luck smile
