Good to hear you're enjoying the car at last, well deserved
Thank you! I never gave up on it, and it's driving beautifully at the moment smile

Less said about the wiper motor and impending MOT the better hehe

The Cerb reminded me that Rain-X was a thing (in an earlier life), which really helps

But now I'm using GTechniq, which is more expensive, and perhaps worth the premium, not really sure

Yes, used to use Rain-x, now using Glaco something or other, it's like witchcraft at 60mph, amazing stuff.

The worry is the not passing mot due to how poor it is on a dry window.

I went with the rebuilt, upgraded motor, not the one from TVR parts that didn't fit, but mine rebuilt. There was someone offering this.
Unfortunately I don't have the details of who did it, but it works brilliantly, like wipers on a modern car.

That is sublime. Single headlamps, RL7s, no private plate, orange indicators. Pure!
Love this about the Tiv community. All appreciative of the marque in its various guises. For me, the twin headlamp conversion and spiders look better, but that's just my subjective opinion. Colour of the OP car imperial blue? Looking very tidy.

Yes I've read plenty of old threads and noted that a chap (Adrian?) was doing rebuilds.

I'm hoping to get away with cleaning it up, just get it through mot, then something better in the future smile

It is the bottom bearing on the motor that often gets corroded and tightens up, cleaning it up helps enormously as does cleaning out the gearbox and packing with fresh grease.

Yeah, the best community! But it's not just the owners, everyone seems to love them and give really positive comments. Refreshing.

It's starmist blue, quite a dark blue but when it is bright has a great vibrance.

Probably my favourite and cleanest shot over the weekend at Goodwood Motor Circuit. This was for the RetroRides Weekender show, and it was one of only four TVR’s in attendance… it was a huge honour to have it in the special display area under the grandstand, next to my friends Audi UR quattro, and another friends Santorini blue e36 coupe.

Beautiful car, best colour for a Cerb!

Cheers everyone, it was brilliant to be able to introduce the brand to young people who’d never been up close to a Cerbera before too.

Had four young lads who were in awe of it, and an 8 year old, who’s weekend was made with a sit in the drivers seat.

Feel honoured to have been picked for it to go in the technical site display for the Bicester Scramble next month too!

Here’s a couple more detail shots my friend took:

Nice one Dave, pleased to have met you.
Now I'm not saying you were responsible but by all accounts that's the first time in the shows history that it didn't rain.

Cheers

Nigel
