5 years later and they are still nowhere near £100k.
Granted, but at £130k they’re getting closer....BobTurner said:

Not much they were 135k 5 years ago, so glacial depreciation doesn’t quite cover it!
I’d say they were a decent buy then...drive, enjoy, flip? Now? Perhaps if it was a good LHD car with the right history and bought at the right money. Can't see these £150k dealer cars doing as well as in the next 3 years as their equivalents have done in the previous 3 years; but then again don't see RHD dealer cars sitting much below £120k anytime soon (absent wider economic issues); I think the independent servicing network will help residuals once the warranties and servicing packs run off.

You can buy a low mileage RHD car with cast iron provenance in red from a dealer right now at £130k if you turn up with pound notes. I’d buy that particular car if I wanted one. Now? Make a bid and you will be surprised how keen they are to move on overpriced aged stock which is only going one way the longer they hold on to it
I think you you’ll find they’ll not blink, certainly not yet. No way are main dealers going to start discounting at this time of the year, other than the usual £3-4K. Also there are less 458 Italians for sale then there were this time last year, although I don’t know what that indicates? To be honest i’ve decided to keep mine because I can’t find anything as a overall package to beat it. The latest toys just don’t really float my boat. If you fancy one, get it bought and enjoy it as life’s too short. If in a year or two’s time it’s worth £30k less then so what? Supercars are surely all about the fun and not the finances otherwise your eventually going to end up disappointed?RamboLambo said:

Quite the opposite. We have sold 3 in the last month and all at asking. Coupled with the fact these are one of the most requested Supercars I do no think the prices are going anywhere near £100k. Of course there is some old stock which is being discounted, but guess what it was not realistically priced to start with! garystoybox said:

Given the current market and type of car, doesn't make sense.

Anyone think we will see the 100k RHD 458 anytime soon?
Yes. Given there is the cat repair at sub £100k and a nice black LHD one a whisper over, I would think a non cat repair, RHD car will be around that level when the next sneeze of this market depression occurs.
