Who would have guessed that 7 years on from the start of this topic and the £100k 458 still isn't really here? Certainly not me.

As a 458 owner I’m not really surprised. Those owners who don’t feel obliged to go on to the next shiny thing struggle to part with a 458 which keeps the prices up.

Have said it before but the 458 has nowhere to go price wise unless the F430 goes down as well. It is a major step change from that car.

There is also a practical floor at which the price won't really go below, since its a supercar and a Ferrari.

My attempt to acquire a giallo 458 has not come off this time. In truth it was a bit jazzy for me anyway. Triple paint though.

In a funny way, it has dipped below what a £100k car would have been when the thread started

Since then, the prices of everything comparable has risen, and the fall in price has softened a great deal.

Proportionally, it's done from double a 430 to not a huge amount more as a step

Looks to be a nice 458 Spyder coming up for auction £95k+ guide price
Good colour combo, appears to have been serviced at the same Ferrari dealer all its life.

60K miles means it can be used in anger without worrying too much about impacting future value.

Be very surprised if that doesn’t exceed the upper end of the guide. Still lots of car for the money and as you say, it’d make a good long termer.

When the headline description is "CHEAPEST 458 IN THE COUNTRY" then that tells me to be careful.

The black one looks like it has been looked after, and at least they've been used which is a good thing. I've seen Dinos advertised with lower mileage wink

£95k is the bottom end of the guide price. If there is nothing wrong with it I'd expect it to get close to £100k at least, plus around £12000 in buyers fees, so probably a £110k+ car

Took a bit of time but we got there. A nice car too.

I missed out on it as my stored credit card had expired. Otherwise would have bid. I’ve done the rounds but I think the 458 remains one of the greats. Amazing value vs all the new stuff.

So £107,200 with fees, seems about right, great service history, needs a service now, Ferrari Power 15 warranty no longer available after 15 yrs, and Carbon Seats. Wasn’t forthcoming on the CBD wear condition and it’s an auction, but buyer should be pretty chuffed, I like Grigio Silverstone and Silver wheels.

This must be another £100k, higher miles, but suspension lifter and same first class service history, and probably allowed 1 more Ferrari 15 Warranty until 2026.

I looked at buying one for £112k but it was just back from a chunky gearbox / diff casing leak that cost almost £9k and wasn't warrantied for whatever reason. Apparently a common leak/failure point in the 458?

Or it would be if it was £100k, rather than the £107,200 it actually cost.
Still a good price for a 458, and still a lot of car for the money, but it wasn't a £100k.

Amazing bargain imo. Good spec and history.

Think seller will be disappointed and would have done better through the likes of Motorway.
