Glad to see pistonheads still allow this thread .

I'm sure the owner of GVE meant well - but perhaps a lack of understanding just how small the Ferrari community is played a part.

I think verdi's problems are well document and people should DYOR....

But I'm glad there is no right to be forgotten on forums .

Hi Guys,

Kabir Verdi was involved with GVE servicing at its inception to the extent that he occupied the post of Service Advisor. However, he recently left this post to work on a new project at a Service Centre in Chiswick and is no longer associated to GVE.

Thanks,

David (Owner at GVE London)

Well I think when the chap posted the info on Ferrarichat (before it was edited) that Scuderia Scaglietti was mentioned which would tie in with the reference to Chiswick

He is not involved in any shape or form within GVE Servicing.

Just curious but why would you involve yourself and your business with known fraudsters?

Indeed. Why were they involved in any capacity in the first place?

IIRC from a thread over on Ferrarichat, Kabir and the owner of GVE were school friends, doesn't answer your question but gives the connection

Is not, or has never been?
I would have thought anyone with an ounce of common sense can judge the future use of GVE for anything simply by association,as has been mentioned.
Surprised Verdi is still breathing never mind working.

Quite impressive to get a 13 year disqualification when the maximum is 15.

Given what they did to their previous customers that's quite an appropriate address that they live at.

..he failed, no doubt with considerable costs exposure.

Managed to read that before it was pulled. Dont forget, in the world of PH, you cannot relay your experiences of motor dealers that do not perform well.

More litigation has been reported. The creditors applications were rejected but some light is shed on why the costs of the bankruptcy have been so high.

Oof. Must be galling to be a creditor in circumstances where £595k was recovered but costs of recovery were £556k!
