I wouldn't have thought so to be honest, what you're saying is like assuming young people would revere some old Sony Minidisk player because at one time it was the pinnacle of its product & brand category
A sizable number of people in that gym are going to be younger than that vehicle and it's yesterday's car however you look at it. You may not like that and if you're an older petrolhead you may not agree but a large number of young people who will always be a majority at a gym, would be more interested in something that came out recently like an M4 or even the Jag. Not some ancient sports car, Ferrari or not.
Maybe if it was a newer one fair point. I mange a field team of people in their late 20's- early 30's and they're all into their cars, it's newer cars that are the ones they are interested in and the RS cars from Audi / the AMG Mercs and BMW M are the lusted after metal not some classic from the 90's
Putting aside the ridiculous cringiness of the comment in the first place with the OP deciding that more people walking past were looking at his car than the one he parks next to, which is a bit bonkers in itself
I can say without doubt that this is not a general line of thinking amongst young people.A sizable number of people in that gym are going to be younger than that vehicle and it's yesterday's car however you look at it. and on the flip side I’m 29 and couldn’t tell you much about the latest Audi’s/bms

Ha so a Maserati Levante, QP or Ghibli with a 3.0 Diesel engine is a supercar? An Aston one-77 & Ford GT is not
People post about R8s in Supercar general
Lambo Urus?
Ferarri 400?
Etc etc etc
And you're right, I've seen some of those Audi posts being snuck into Supercar General. Jokers.

Couldn't agree more pal, some people have funny ideas when it comes to justifying their purchases to themselves - who cares. There was even a chap on here saying the 360 is a supercar earlier - as if! That and its ugly ancient brother the 430 are really only good for Bradford wedding day hires. And you're right, I've seen some of those Audi posts being snuck into Supercar General. Jokers.
The Supercar section should say 'V8 Ferarri (458 and on)' and move the earlier rubbish with their failing manifolds and crappy ball joints that are slower than a remapped Golf out to the Fiat section or off the site completely! Deluded morans.

But what when the R8 is 20 year old and when Audi’s latest electric shopping trolley puts it too shame.
Ancient garbage apparently
The day that happens, I won’t be telling highly suspect stories about people who are only in nappies today, stopping what they are doing to look at it in the gym carpark! Ancient garbage apparently

The thing is though it wouldn’t surprise if me the stories were true.My 355 (22yr) is even older than a 360, yet it draws attention from people of all ages, lost count the amount of times toddlers have stopped what they are doing to look and point.
Not that I’m looking for it, but sometimes it’s hard to miss
So, if a certain poster is to be believed - if I got a group of under 30s together, parked an RS3 and a 360 next to each other and offered them the keys to drive the one they wanted - the vast majority would pick the RS3? Well, I'm surprised.....
I don't understand why JakeSmith is being so deliberately provocative and antagonistic. And not just on this thread - the Boxster -> McLaren thread yesterday drew a similar comment which was entirely unnecessary. If you don't like old Ferrari's that's your business - there are plenty of cars I don't like - but you seem to be looking for an argument.

All Ferraris are very nice I own a F430 Spyder myself but I'm not going to get high and mighty about it.I don't understand why JakeSmith is being so deliberately provocative and antagonistic. Be proud of your car but don't get arrogant and don't belittle other people's choice of car.

I simply disagree with the fact that an RS3 would attract more attention than a 360 - or any other Ferrari. Some cars attract attention - whether you like it or not (and personally, I don't like it).

I can't be bothered to feed the trolls but I'll add one last thing. If the comment about 'belittle other peoples choice...' was aimed at me I think you should read the post again. I like the Jag a lot, I said that very clearly. The Audi gag was simply laughable as I was talking about presence. There's no right or wrong, just opinion and we're all on the same side. I left school some time ago so I wont be back on this thread. Relax.
