Following on from a recent post, a place to give credit where it's due.

Some from me:

Simon Williams, who handled my Mclaren purchase. Absolutely brilliant through the whole deal, couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The day I picked up the car he moved on to Porsche West London so if you're looking for a Porker you can't go wrong.

Paul Watlin, the service manager at Ferrari Colchester. Dealt with him over 5 years of Ferrari ownership and couldn't fault the service, courteous and friendly but above all else professional. Always strove to put me at ease and proffer a solution before I started to stress!

Ben Bradford at Mclaren, knows the cars inside out and always finds time to deal with my issues even if trivial, very decent guy.

James (can't remember his second name!) at Lamborghini Sevenoaks, so polite and easy going, comes straight out from behind the desk to shake your hand as soon as you arrive, might seem inconsequential but stuff like that really hits the spot. Lovely bloke.

The guys at McGurk performance cars are worth a mention. Very customer focused and are always there to show you around the current stock and always offer you a cup of tea or coffee when you arrive.

Amy and Matt at lotus silverstone are worth a mention too, as are the guys at HWM Aston martin in walton on thames.

+1 for Ben at Mclaren. Top chap and having worked on the F1 and SLR he's probably more Mclaren than almost all the people actually at Mclaren Automotive these days.

Tony Glynn at Foskers. Delivers on what he promises. Another vote for Elias Elias too. Positive experiences with Tim Walker too.

Adrian Burke at Dick Lovett Swindon. I've bought & sold more cars over the years from DL than I should admit to & it's always been a pleasure. Alan Clarke who runs the workshop is also excellent. Mobile on at the weekend, nothing too much trouble etc.
Cracking showroom also ...

Pangbourne Lamborghini, Manranello Ferrari, both are the real thing - not just salesmen in suits, agree with the good Ferrari independents named above,

this post is long overdue, we should sing their praises...shout

Agree Maranello but wince at their labour rate (£180/hour) yikes when Indi's (as above) are half that. Makes an engine out a significant "event".

Well done to whichever Mod that did a bit of pruning.

This thread is dead in the water if it just decends into slagging off.
