OK, 10am at handycross roundabout is fine.
Exit is first one coming from Oxford M40 direction, ie almost going back on yourself. Left at first mini roundabout takes you to the front of the UCI cinema, go past the UCI/pedestrian crossing and about a hundred yards on your right is the entrance to the top car park. It is on the opposite side of the road to the cinema. Go into car park and head up to the 'top area' of it (it is on a slight gradient). You won't miss 'Ol Smokey (Guy's black Ultima) or The Red Baron (my red 964RS). You'll also hear either approaching from about half a mile...

Alt and Dom
See you at 10 then. Are we going the fun route or the slower route so Dom can keep pace with the powerful cars? Alt are you bringing Thighlie Minogue with you or just the picture and keep back from dom's car- its a bit oily.

Guys, whats actually happening at Virginia Waters.... Will we go there in a massive PH convoy?
Also - we NEED some good roads - and to be honest I don't know any. To prevent, erm..... "Lurkers".... it will suffice to say that someome DOES know some good roads as opposed to mentioning online... if you know what I mean.
Let's get this sorted before Sunday....

Convoy to Virginia Waters seems roughly the plan.
As for a more spirited run, I'll have to rely on the locals to make the plans, being the southwest bumpkin you understand! Definitely not for talking about on the web.
DAZ
A little concerned about videoing on road activities.
Hi guys,
There are some good twisties over Chobham Common from memory, don't know what you are looking for in the way of roads, but I don't think you will find many wide open fast roads in this area of Surrey. You would have to travel some way (ie into Hampshire,or Surrey Sussex borders for the really good stuff.Anyone any ideas? How far do you want to go?
Steve
We had quite a nice run when we went on the Porsche PHers meet to THE PAROTT,Forest Green. There's some nice roads around there, not particularly fast, but good fun. That is some 30 to 40 miles from VW though.

Guy, thanks for the advice re Dom's car!
Ms. Minogue won't be with me unfortunately as she's taking some time out back home!
As for the route I'll have to rely on the locals! Preferably not too far south as I'm already coming down from Leamington, but not too bothered if we do.
Definitly think we should head to Virginia Waters for a bit though.
Cheers.... Andrew

Think thats the plan Andrew.Head down to VW in convoy, then we will have to 'play the rest by ear'.

Hmmm, it's the Ultima you should be worried about, it smokes like a chimney. Guy has read too many books on 911s and never owned one AFAIK, so he thinks they all drop oil and sound like a Subaru. How misguided the poor man is...
I think he's upset because his second car is a bread van and The White Horse in Wycombe refused him entrance this morning
Dom/Guy, when's the latest that you're going to check this thread before leaving on Sunday morning?
It's just that my car's in the dealer's but I should get it back Saturday lunchtime at the latest. If there's a delay I've asked for a TVR loan car for Sunday (the Cerbera I've got now get's exchanged for a PT Cruiser this evening!). So if I haven't got a TVR on Sunday I won't be coming.
Cheers.... Andrew

Just got back from letting my mum drive the 355. She definitely wants one now. I was pissed off at the number of w*nkers that feel they need to prove that their car CAN actually overtake a Ferrari, regardless of the fact that its on a 30MPH road, with the Ferrari going at 35MPH. Three w*nkers actually pulled up behind us and realising it was a woman driving proceeded to demonstrate their ability to be complete tossers. One tailed her, and when I gestured the usual out of the window, and he overtakes her in his piece of shit Honda SUV thing, rinsing the engine and nearly causing an accident with an oncoming car just after overtaking. The other c**ts overtook her with cars coming at them!!! WTF? Absolute psycho dickheads!
I feel for women who drive Ferrari's.

Sorry to hear that Ninja. I can't believe that some people can be complete wkers. Like you said, it's as if they have a point to prove.
Whenever I see a flash car on the road I don't think "Look at that tosser in a flash mota". I think the exact opposite. I respect the guys and gals who drive these cars. They worked dam hard to get where they are, and are enjoying the fruits of their success. It gives me the will and drive to achieve the same success, so that one day I may be fortunate enough to own such exotica.
Same kind of thing happened to my mam a few years back. Driving the Lotus minding her own business when three dkheads tried running her off the road. Not once or twice but many many times - they followed her for a few miles before giving up. She feared for her life though.
It really fks me off, and I'm sorry to be swearing so much. It just really gets on my tits.
I hope it hasn't put her off.
