Sounds like the bastards gave your mum a lot harder time. What w*nkers!

But no, my mums not put off. She's pretty adamant that she wants one now as she thinks its an easy car to drive. Taking her for a longer drive on Saturday, but I think she's quite happy with its driving position etc. She's a petit lady and the seat had to be moved right to the front, but she just about managed.

She is just waiting for me to move out and she'll be buying a 355 F1. Although she did say that the clutch on the 355 is liveable with, so she could end up getting a manual (which is my advice).

Andrew, glad to hear my mum was instantly excluded from your comment. Should be start a "mums" war?

Ninja,

Unbelievable! I cant believe the amount of jealous fuers that exist out there. Glad your mum wasnt put off.

The best thing is pissing those waers off though. The other day I was driving the Audi on the way to work and this complete arsewipe came behind me in his C-Class Merc trying to get me to move over even though I was doing 50 in a 40 zone. I slowed down to about 35, watched in my rear view as he started gesturing, then dropped it into 2nd and floored it. It was so funny watching him try to keep up!! No chance ahole.

Scottster pulled a beauty on a tailgating Corsa once. The tosser was right up the jacksy of his 993 in heavy traffic on the M25, Scottster was doing 85 or so, and couldn't go faster. So, Dave gently sloooowwwws down to about 45 and then floors it. About five seconds later Dave is back to normal driving, whereas the Corsa had to pull over to the middle lane as the cars behind him were giving him so much abuse as he tried to engage warp drive in his Corsa and found that Mr Sulu hadn't connected it yet

A good learnin' that one. Not particularly dangerous as it was done gently. But what fun! And the Corsa tosser may refrain from tailgating Porsches again.

Myself (964RS), Guy (blueatin, Ultima GTR) and Andrew (alt, Tamora) are meeting at handycross roundabout J4 M40 High Wycombe at 10am sharp (at the top car park opposite the UCI cinema, it is the exit between the Oxford M40 one and the Cressex one, signposted I think to Aylesbury... take a left at the first mini roundabout, go past the cinema on your left and then take a right about 100 yrds further on into car park).

You would be welcome to join us, we are heading off on 'interesting' roads of Guy's choice through to Scuderia Systems in Egham, before meeting up with the some other PHers to head on to Virginia Waters.

Dom, Guy and Andrew.

I'll be going to Egham from Bristol (M4), if running on time I'll blast past Marlow and see you at the car park off the M40 for 10am sharp.

Wycombe is just an on route meeting point for the "gentle drive" to Scuderia Systems in Egham for 10.30am. We'll then be moving onto the Virginia Water PH meet.

Guys,
I managed to get over to V.Water/Egham earlier to try and find some good roads. Not much luck I'm afraid the roads over Chobham Common seem to have deteriated since I last was over there.Looks like we will have to think again.

Ajay, I've tried that one many times too! I told my mum to floor it, but she didn't Glad in a way as the car wasn't warmed up enough.

I always make the car as large as possible by taking up most of the road. They get the message.
