So if you don't like it you're snobby and pretentious? Ok.
no, not necessarily - but the general point is not completely baseless imo, as if a car is a limited edition OEM car everybody thinks it is great and wants one (stickers, lurid colours, big rims, carbon winglets and all). While as soon as an after market tuner is involved it is automatically horrible, only to be bought by chavs and a piece of crap. Look at a 675LT or a F12tdf or the above Aston - they have an awful lot of stuff going on that is not dissimilar to the Mansory car (the paint job does not help its case though).

Don't agree at all. I ordered my Esprit GT3 without the garish stickers, because I thought them naff. I ordered my Esprit V8 without the wing for the same reason. It didn't actually need it, it was purely for looks. Likewise, I love the look of my blue Gallardo coupé but think the PET, etc a dog's breakfast. I dislike pointless addenda. Less is most definitely more, for me. It's called personal taste.

I thought you should be congratulated on the great use of language in these two paragraphs!
Agree entirely. Amusing and accurate descriptions. Most criticisms in life stem from an element of jealousy. Whilst I think the car and everything Mansory produces is simply hideous I am jealous of their ingenuity to exploit the 'grown up Max Power' show-offs with no taste and make a fortune in doing so.
Cars in point that dreadful human, J Stunt, and the abomination of an aventador he drives.

Bodykit makeover has turned a plain Jane into a bit of a looker.
Are you 6yrs old? It looks f**king awful!Hey I know, lets throw a sh*tload of carbon tat at a perfectly good 488 and market it at a tasteless Arab .
Brilliant.

nice video
oh dear - in that colour it actually looks nice from some angles - front and front 3/4
the back is a dogs dinner, and some nice touchs (the carbon, the tricolore) get flogged to death
the interior is horrible, esp the qulited leather - too many styles and shades going on
god that Shmee guy is annoying

We've seen this in Manchester, and whilst such things are down to personal opinion mine is that it's bloody awful. The back end looks like it was designed by an 8 year old based on a hot wheels car he got in an Easter egg and the "splitter" looks more like its sole purpose is to help a model climb onto the bonnet.
Also, I understand what the comment about Arabs meant I disagree. There are certainly some who go for Hamman etc. gaudy wraps are a more prevalent way they show individuality amongst their peers.

Sounds a bit prejudiced?
The 4XX takes the stock 488 and makes it faster, lighter and nimbler. It is quicker to 60mph and its top speed is higher. Mansory has gone another level higher than Ferrari.
Prejudiced? Damn right I am. The 4XX takes the stock 488 and makes it faster, lighter and nimbler. It is quicker to 60mph and its top speed is higher. Mansory has gone another level higher than Ferrari.
Prejudiced for thinking that maybe, just maybe Ferrari might have more expertise and handling knowledge to design a better car than a bunch of amateurs who slap on a load of carbon and call it 'lighter'?
'Another level higher' - please do quantify that statement. So it's quicker, big whoop. I seriously doubt it handles as well if it is lowered on bigger wheels.
There are some tuning companies out there who can improve a performance car, but Mansory are all about looks first.
Have you driven it? If not I'd say you're just as prejudiced for assuming I'm wrong.
