Test of one's manhood

I don't know how many of you guys have experienced the following scenario or something similar. i'm pretty sure I'm not the only one , I can't be!!
A week or so ago I was driving in Central London, and was stopped at a set of lights. Alongside me pulls up an attractive girl who must have been around about my age i.e under 25, in a Boxster S. Ahead of us the two lanes rapidly become one so someone has to give way. Not usually a problem. As soon as the lights turned to amber I gently pressed the accelerator and was away. I noticed that said young lady was alongside me at this stage, so I thought "Hold on, I'm not having this!!" Bang! foot-to-the-floor, pedal-to-the-metal time. I have the lead- only she wasn't having any of it I hear her engine sound deepen and off she pulls ahead of me, I didn't have anymore to give and had to settle for second place behind her.
After recovering from the initial shock and embarrassment I felt two emotions at that moment in time.
1: I was in a state of disbelief. Not that a young woman was driving a Boxster, hell I see more women driving those then men on a regular basis, in fact I only see women driving them! But from the fact that she had the guts to use the power of her car against me-now that is rare! So obviously this induced the next emotion:
2: Love at first sight!
The only consolation I have from that episode is coincidentally I managed to grab a parking space first which we were both going for 5 minutes later. Pathetic I know, but at least I managed to some kind of one up on her!
Whoever that girl was, I take my hat off to her in the true spirit of traffic light racing!
