Black! Party because it’s that sort of thread and partly because the 599 is a large car and a v12, both characteristics point towards black for me.
Yeah I agree. Big GT cruisers don't tend to look so good in red as an outright sports car. Black, dark Grey or Blue would be my preference for a 599 not red and I'm a red guyBehemoth said:
If you knew some basic colour theory, you'd understand why this isn't true.
Right, so anyone's opinion of what colour they prefer or would or not would not buy is immediately invalidated by "basic colour theory"..? Theory defined by whom? Someone with an opinion? Why would that opinion be any more valid than any other person's. This is not science, it is emotion. Utterly nonsensical statement sir.Pioneer said:

Surely there is no right answer here? The colour of a car and how it makes you react is entirely subjective to the individual looking at the car. Pretty pointless question really. Sorry.

I've had red many times before so thought I'd try another colour (after the idea was floated by a mate). I like the black because:
- Looks menacing and dramatic, especially without a front plate. Viewing the car in the rear view mirror it looks ace!
- Has a more grown up mature yet sophisticate look (over red). If it were my first Fezza I'd buy red but having ticked that box it gives the car a different character being black.
- At night (esp wet) and under lights it looks superb. I glance back from the cash desk in a petrol forecourt and it simmers under the neon lights.
- I have a strong black and yellow colour combo going on - for me works really well.
- More effort to keep clean but when polished it pops really well.

Far from being a pointless question, I am merely trying to get a feeling for peoples thoughts on Black. I'm not saying it's going to change my opinion, but I wasn't aware that its the second most popular colour fro a ferrari, What I havn't learned yet is why people like it so much?

What matters is what you like, to be honest. GG
