Front number plates and the police

Im going to be buying an Adventador S next week and wondered what folks do with the front number plate on these?
I know some people dont bother to put them on (the same goes for the likes of Ferrari etc), and just wondered if they attract a lot of bother from the police, and if so, is a cursory telling off, or are they hot on issuing points and penalties these days?
Just feels rude to put a plate on the front and ruin the look. Thanks in advance, Lord B.

I really don't get why people are so fussy about number plates. The only times when the car is going to be static long enough for people to form any kind of aesthetic opinion about if it looks better without a front plate is going to be at a show or a meet in which case it's 99.9% likely that the car is going to be indoors or at least on private land, in which case either get a trim piece that hides the fixing points, or one of those trick holders that can be folded away inside the front grill, that way while the car is static and being drooled over, the plate can be either removed or tucked away. Then put the plate back when you're driving about on the roads. Or get show plates if that's your bag.
I don't think I've ever seen a car driving past me on the road and thought 'OMG that would look so much better without a front plate'. Conversely I've quite often seen cars coming towards me with the front plate removed and placed on the dash (usually as part of a greater program of ill-advised 'visual mods' like US style always-on indicators etc) and thought to myself 'wow, is it really worth the aggro and hassle of potentially getting pulled over every time you drive the car just because you think your 17 year old E46 looks more like a racecar thanks to this petty act of non-conformity?'
If anything it takes me back to secondary school where all the kids who fancied themselves as a bit of a rebel would tie their school tie backwards so the fat end was tucked away but the thin side was hanging down, or alternatively tie it really short with a very loose, fat knot. Then they would moan and complain about being picked on by the Head of Maths in the corridor.

Same here in Cambs. Got pulled with no front plate on the Lambo. "Very nice car Sir but can't have one rule for you and a different rule for everyone else." They were cool about it actually but did say to sort it or I'd get a ticket next time. One took some photos on his phone as it happens for a colleague who was Lambo crazy. In all fairness I had every intention of putting a front plate on and had had a bespoke bracket made up but the car had just had PPF on the day before.
Yeh, I think my motorbike helmet hides my lovely face, but have to wear one ! 
Whatever you want dude, but I can`t see them letting you off with it for very long.
Oh and as an aside, if you blitz a van mounted camera with a front facing camera, and they track you down, it`s perverting the course of justice.
Same for ANPR cars, if you are found to be wanting in the tax or mot area.

I thought the dealer had a duty of care to ensure a vehicle left their premises in a roadworthy state? I'd refer the police back to them. Incidentally what do the MoT testers make of it?
That's worse than being on the front of the car IMHO. Hate it when I see plates on dashboards thinking it looks cooler.
