Theres a Testarossa for sale in the autotrader for £29,995. I quote:

"1985, 18000 miles, recent belts, Chiaro blue/beige leather, fsh, stunning, dont miss it. £29,995. Dealer facilities . (020) 77361236."

Is a sub £30K Testarossa to be avoided or is this reasonable?

The price looks OK- I've seen two of a similar age in Top Marques around the £32K mark. Bear in mind that this is an early one. There is generally an inverse relationship between purchase price & running costs; while there are notable exceptions, this isn't one of them. You should budget several £K per year to run it; while it's not strictly true that you need to take the engine out to change a light bulb, it's not far off.

Chiaro blue - nice colour but not everyone likes it on a TR - may explain what I feel is a low price.
