That’ll never sell for decent money in the UK - the cognoscenti will be up in arms about the hole in the history. Will have much better luck in Germany imo.

Having said that CS (asking) prices seem to have dropped a lot over the last year - so much so that I have started research into a manual conversion again. Just waiting for a cheap car now
There were plenty of 430 Scuds around in Germany for £90-£100k in 2015. I saw a lovely one at Garage Francorchamps that one of my friends bought for well under £100k converted to GBP.

I love the CS but for me the Scud is a better car and I wouldn't pay more for a CS just based on rarity alone.
I like the box on the Scud, so wouldn’t convert that. I prefer the way the CS looks and Sounds and given the older box, a conversion makes more sense (to me)
Yup there was a Scud below 100k euros even at some point in 2014 or 2015

A nice scud for less than 100k! I'd buy it in a heartbeat cloud9

cheapest ones atm at about 140k, so not quite 100k - but not that far off anymore either
cheapest CS nowadays at 120k - quite close to the magical 100k ...
cheapest road legal 355 Challenge at c 140k, plus I think I also so a 348 Challenge at about the same money recently

Soon the time might come to buy another car - although I will likely reconsider that once I have paid for the 2 new manifolds my car is getting ....

Yes i remember a nice main dealer LHD Scud in blue with yellow leather at around 85k in 2015 with very low kms. Ultra rare with that combo i would think.

I think all 430's and 360's are undervalued atm and are a safe place for money if the car is in good condition

I assume you're still talking about CS etc. rather than the bog standard ones?

September auction sold prices in UK Europe and the States... Still looks like the bubble hasn't burst for the top end cars!

There was the, then, infamous ex-P1 car (TdF/tan or crema iirc) which was up for 65-ish in 2009, I think it was. Everyone was terrified of brake/clutch wear. I think someone on fchat or club scud bought it (as a second CS as he already had a red one) and it turned out to be fine.

edit: Oh, somehow missed that you were talking about Scuds, not CSs... coat, door etc

I saw a manual 599 at the dealership near the factory in 2012. The guy told me there were only half a dozen or so in Europe. It was up for around 200k EUR.

A chunk of that difference is exchange rate.
