I am a die hard Ferrari/Lambo man, but i have to say, there really is no better car for the money than the Audi R8 V!0 Plus. £100k, 5000 miles, that is just so much epicness for the money.

Just looked at the spec on your car Val. It really has just about everything you'd ever want from an R8.

On the down side...the sun visors are as much use as a chocolate fireguard...but that is my only nit pick....apart from being a nervous wreck to leave her parked up and walk away should I take her into town 😳 and yes, I am a child parking spot thief...frequently! so sue me 😁

lovely car..think you should get the audi badge put back on the rear and have that and the R8 badge in black, I also took the audi badge off the bonnet of the gen 1 plus I had just looks cleaner without

I've modified several cars but I won't touch the R8...the designers know better than me 😊

Congrats on the car Val, its lovely.

Took my mum out in my 720S, she is 81 and tiny. When I put the sun visor down for her she was too low to get any benefit, she said "Well they aren't very useful are they", I smiled and said "No, not really".

Couple of weeks later I'm round there and she said "Look I got you these" and she's bought me some huge, ugly visor extenders from Amazon bless her, awful bloody things with elastic fixings that entirely block the view out of the window. Of course each time after that I had the car she kept saying "Haven't you put them on yet, I got them especially"

I felt awful each time I pretended I'd forgotten them.

Apologies if butting in but assuming a Nissan GT-R, I've driven both and the GT-R was far quicker but in comparison soulless. The slight "boy racer" image didn't endear me to the GT-R although I respect it for what it is!

So opted for the R8.

Hi Crimbo, I have to agree with you.. although it pains me to say that as much as I love the GTR35 ... the R8 v10 plus is supierior imho.

We'll have to meet up Val. You bring your yellow one. I'll bring my blue one. And then we can cruise around in convoy looking like total dipsticks!
