Well I'm on my 5th now and I cant recall any issues tbh.
it depends where you live, the further down south you are the less people care and in London no one cares at all I have a Perf Spyder now and took it out over the weekend, top down in the sunshine but barely above freezing. I really enjoy this car, its bright green and gets lots of waves especially from young kids. I think the colour sort of says this is fun, not taking it all to serious. Its a very capable piece of kit and a complete animal given it's head but then its also a great almost GT car could drive it for hours.
I think my Porsches have probably been less well received but then again not that badly and regardless of that it wouldn't stop me buying one again!
So I've decided to go with the 675LT. It was very close, but my heart was with the McLaren, and I think that's what counts with this type of purchase.
The opportunity to drive them back to back was also important in making the decision as it's so easy for the last thing you saw to be foremost in your thoughts.
For those that may have a similar dilemma, then I'd recommend speaking to the following dealerships who have been awesome. Please ping me directly if you want any specific names.
Lamborghini Chelmsford
McLaren Birmingham
McLaren New Forest
Each treated me exactly as I'd hope, as a car enthusiast first and foremost, and as someone that shared a passion for their cars.
Thanks all.

I just did the same an bought a 675LT in Chicane. I also tried a perf and GT3.
I think he rarity of the 675 combined with the reliability they have shown means they are good value just now. For me however the 675 felt like a car designed to be driven. The huge central rev counter, ultra comfy & low bucket seats, panoramic windsceen and narrow central console make it feel like a race car. Combine that with the carbon tub, active suspension & aero and an engine with 50% improved parts over a 650 and the car feels very special.
The Perf felt like a normal car with an exceptional engine. However the seating was compromised as was the view out. I found it supremely uncomfortable to the point I wanted out after 30 mins. Even a GT40 (original) is more comfortable. For me it just seems it hasn't been as thoroughly thought out and designed like the LT. The LT just feels like a proper feat of engineering and design whereas the Perf feels like a normal car with some good bits on it. I find the noise of the Lambo's too in your face.
The Porsche GT range is just too stiff for you the UK. They are rock hard and uncomfortable. I bought a Exige 430 CUP in preference to a GT3 and much prefer it. That's not to say I don't like a good Porsche as they are so well engineerd and I do have a 981 Spyder which I think is (was) the sweet spot in the range for UK road driving.
The other positives for the LT are for touring, I have seen 42 mpg (no joke) on a 50mph section of Motorway over 40 miles with M-Way averages of 33-35 mpg! This combined with a huge frunk makes it great for touring. The lambo's mpg and frunk space are both dreadful. As irrelevant as people may think MPG is on cars like this when an Italian car does 15 mpg and fuel is 2 euros a litre, in a lot of Europe, it becomes relevant on a 3k mile tour. It also shows the supreme engineering in the McLaren.
So great choice and many congratulations.

The only thing with the 675LT is perhaps the 7xxLT perhaps will overshadow it?
Problem there is a "correct" spec 765LT will be twice the cost of the 675 and more common.I have a slot for one but not sure I'll take it.
OP you are going to really enjoy that thing when the roads dry and the temperature comes up
