Literally can't even be bothered to vacuum the floor, photos are a joke, road looks borderline sketchy, I'm going to rock up there with £135k in a Tesco's bag no problem
I had a wee chancer turn up in a boy racer Halfords E36 3 series with £45k in counterfeit notes for a car I was selling a few years back. When I said 'okay lets just go to the bank and pay it in' he said he was in too much of a rush but how about he gave me an extra £5k smile

That made me laugh, God knows how anyone can be so foolish as to accept that extra money because he was'in a rush' biglaugh, if you are that greedy then you deserve everything you get.

if the car's still available, I've a double pack of the shiny, tracing paper style toilet roll I can trade you for it. The stuff is so thick you can probably wash and reuse it, so a bargain......

Is the seller just scamming people out of deposits?
Back up again for a third time at £124k.

It looked the part, it was just the chavvy car he turned up in and his general demeanour that told me that it was counterfeit. I did think after that I should have said ‘listen, you know and I know that this isn’t money, give me £2m of it and we’ve got a deal’

WBAC just bid me less than 50 bags of sand for a similar 17 plate 720s.

More likely getting desperate now to move it on. Could be below £120 in a week or so if it doesn't sell as I can't see cars like this having much demand unless they are stupidly cheap and £124k ain't stupid in my opinion.

It was £130k, then £135k and now £125k I think - something doesn’t feel right.

General rule is to keep ads up until solid - no financial incentive to take an ad down until sold surely.

True but there are plenty of people who place a deposit, insist on a seller removing the ad, and then don't follow through or sh*t themselves when it comes to actually send money. They waste everyones time and lead to the asset appearing to have an issue when re-marketed.

On the flipside everyone cries when it is requested that a deposit is non-refundable....go figure! lol

Colour & trim by Stevie Wonder, must have originally been a McLaren press car. Yes just looked at Smee’s 150 video it’s on his web site when it was a new press car.

Link's gone now, but was it the one with silver exterior/tan interior?

I thought that looked pretty good.

I speculate that the £100k 720 will be with us soon. And if I'm wrong that's OK. I think they are just awesome cars but I can't get over the eyes gouged out looks. To those who love the look, you aren't wrong. It's just for me, not for me. No offence like.
I remember being at Geneva and seeing it for the first time. I laughed it off and said it was a st design.
Now I love the look of it. Certain colours make it look better than others.
Yes, I hated it when I first saw it. So much so, when I was at McLaren Glasgow, and they had their new 'demonstrator' there, I walked right past it deliberately. I felt nothing for it.
To contrast, the first time I saw an F12, I thought it was gorgeous.

However, with time, I've got used to the 720's challenging looks, and actually quite like it now. Add in the performance and the way it's been received by the motoring press, it's now very high on my shopping list. Particularly the way prices are going. I think £150k for an approved used one is very good value for money, but I see they're going a lot lower now... yikes

Are they really that bad, reliability-wise?

No it was metallic brown with tan leather, very popular with old people ! Only joking, l used to sell Mercedes Benz back in the 1980’s we had a similar colour called Manganese Brown Metallic it was also total kiss of death either new or used, each to his own & all that.

With all those options and a base price of £209k (I think), must be north of £250k?
