Just a quick one to chill out and bring back good memories. I know every moment is a great moment, but there has to be one that stands out.

I'm guessing the plank of wood going through the wing mirror must be your worst one Ninja!

Worst moment: This has got to be the worst ever. First ever time behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Early evening and already very dark. Start it up, listen to her engine for a few minutes, slip into the seat, move out of the garage oh so slowly, get to the gates, look behind me...................strange, all the house lights are out. Who cares? At the gate with the engine purring, gate's taking a while to open The penny drops. The electricity is down. No power = no gate and I didn't know how to manually override the thing. Kicking it did not seem to work either One of the most painful moments of my life. The same sort of gut pain as having a PC and no monitor/PS2 and no pads/plane ticket to Hawaii and no passport. Fixed that bloody gate within an hour or so

Best moment: Pulling up next to a gentleman in the latter stages of life in an identical 360Spider when they had just began delivery. He really thought he was king of the road that day. Shame. Wish I had a camera to capture his expression.

Best: Having the keys to a 348tb thrown to me in 1993 outside a bar in Puerto Banus.

Worst: Asking the owner of the above 348tb if the seat went any lower as my head was tilted on my shoulder and hitting the roof. His reply was no at which stage keys were returned and I climbed out of the car.

Damn good idea for a subject this.

Worst moment: scraping the bumper on my neighbours wall. Luckily they're fibreglass & easily fixed.

Best moment not having a Ferrari: when I first laid eyes on my 456 and knew without question that I was going to have it. Several days of incredible butterflies and after a bit of to-ing & fro-ing the car was delivered while my parents were visiting. The first person to go in the car with me was my father.

Best moments with a Ferrari: choice of two
- first time I met up with Manu, Ajay & Ninja for a hoon around Hertfordshire
- having the Tubi fitted to the 360, not expecting a great deal, then finding out it was just unbelievably good.

Funnily enough, it was a weird sensation driving it back that day. I had a gut feeling that something would happen and when it hit my wing mirror I thought "F**k..(and a whole host of others)... knew it!". But when I checked it out at the next service station and realised that it was ONLY the mirror, despite the sound of it hitting the car, I was actually relieved and drove back the rest of the way a whole lot more comfortable. My mum driving behind me also said she had a funny feeling too, and was relieved that it was too bad. Sometimes you can get bad eyed by people, and a friend of ours is infamous for causing this to happen, hence I tried to avoid letting him know I was getting one until I finally had it, but a friend told him without knowing my "plan". To be honest I can't think of a moment involving the Ferrari that I could call bad, which includes the scraping of the spoiler in the NCP. I guess shit like that happens, and will do in any car if you're not careful, which I wasn't, so I can't actually emotionally connect the bad feeling to the car, if you know what I mean? Just as I am typing and thinking about it, its flooding back memories and the exact feeling, and I DO remember being VERY pissed off, despite what I just wrote sentences ago. But I lost that feeling so quickly once I was back in the 355 after lunch that day that when asked what bad moment did you have in the 355, I can't think of any!!!

One thing that got to me in a way is finding that someone had spat on the car the other day when I came out from a club. Its not so much the spit on the car, that'll be cleaned no problem, just that it pissed someone off that much to go and do that. Its his emotional state and what the sighting of a Ferrari does to him that bothers me. Its disturbing to the point that I wouldn't even say it makes me angry, just disturbing really.

I can say that the week wait whilst my car was prepared was one of the hardest, sweetest weeks to get through. It was butterflies all the way, hard to keep a conversation related to work, and I kept seeing the numbers 355 on EVERYTHING... clock, invoices, account numbers, etc. When I finally got it home it was an immense pleasure just seeing it on the drive, and I fell asleep at 3 am (it was raining all night so couldn't drive it (tried but there was a lot of rain and I didn't fancy losing it or someone else hitting me, which would be sods law on the first night). Next day I woke up at 6 am (without the alarm clock, it was set for 8.30am). Couldn't hold myself back.

It really is a special feeling, getting hold of a treasure of a car (Ferrari or otherwise, although I can't remember the Supra feeling quite so special) for the first time. I still love the smell of the leather.

Best Moments: Meeting with Kevin, Manu and Ajay for the first time was great. Especially so as you get to meet people who you've conversed with before you've actually seen each other. That day was a great day as I had only had the Ferrari for a couple of weeks and it was still very fresh excitement, and I got to blast it around following a very capable driving who gave you even more confidence (he was after all risking his more expensive vehicle and knew the roads well, without being silly or dangerous) and accelerated your learning curve behind the wheel. I remember barely talking to Manu as I shat myself behind the wheel chasing Kevin and thinking "huh, not a test driver? Not a bloody test driver eh? No, a freakin F1 driver more freakin like!!!" Brilliant.

And the fitting of Kevin's tubi was an extremely memorable day for me, many don't understand why I am so mad about that day, but it really was special. I'll never be able to explain it properly, but it was an elation to hear a 360 sounding soooo different. Especially after hearing another system and it not sounding too different from stock. And then walking back to the dealers and hearing a deep purposeful resonance initiated some distance away, not knowing if it was the 360 or not! I think we all ran the last few metres as we couldn't handle the suspense. I think Manu's video says it all really, shame he can't use it for marketing purposes due to all the swearing. In a way, it gave you hope that you can fix anything (sounds mad doesn't it?).

Best Moment: 1994, just had my licence for 6 months, my cousin let me have a ride with his 348tb through Black Forest, and promised to give me the car for a week when I've successfully passed my Abitur (A-Level equivalent).

Worst Moment: 1997, just passed my Abitur, but my cousin's sold the car
Got a Porsche 911 turbo instead

I can think of great moments, two stressful moments and a funny moment.

Great moments: meeting Kevin and Ali for the first time and going for a ride in their cars and thinking these are two of the nicest most generous guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Fitting a Tubi to Kevin's 360, firing it up for the first time and seeing the look on his face. Priceless.

Seeing and hearing my customers drive away after fitting one of our products to their cars.

Working with the cars I love.

Stressful moments: Hoping Kevin would like the Tubi !!(see above)

Not for me but for Ali when the roof of his 355 spider wouldn't work. I thought he was going to kick the car apart Ninja style!!

Funny moment: Today, while out in Kevin's 360 mowing down the most stupid pheasant in the world who, while crossing the road, stopped to admire the Ferrari that was hurtling towards him at light speed. Picture a fountain of feathers. Death by Ferrari, could be worse I guess!! (Kev, you have to admit it's funny now looking back at it!!)

Another classic day Ajay. You're right, it was a bit of a 'Chicken Run' as he ran out stopped a foot short of the central line, then stood there looking at us. No way was I going to make any sudden steering inputs at that point.

We could probably start a thread, Pheasant Run. How that little Pheasant had grown up in the country, having little pheasant dreams of growing up to be an actor or something big in the seed business. He waves goodbye and leaves home on a lovely autumnal sunday afternoon. As he hops through the hedge, he decides to run across this grey bit. When suddenly he spies this low red object. And oh my it IS noisy. Oh my it's running towards him too- it must love him. Oh my, oh my, oh FCUK!

The End.

Worst moment - er...none yet(touch wood)so can I have 2 best moments instead ???

First one was picking my car up for the first time and driving it all the way home to London from Loughborough...then getting up the following morning when it finally sank in that it was my car in the drive !!!

Second - getting the tubi fitted last week (thx Manu and Ajay) being told that it would take a while to sound right - so I did 200 miles this weekend and the sound .....wow WOW WOW...... cursory trip through the tunnel on SAturday afternoon at Dartford - actually had people applauding me as I came out into the traffic the otherside my god its loud -constant smiles...

Far too many best moments to mention here.........every time I get into the car...and drive through a tunnel!

Worst moment happenend about 6 weeks ago on my way to Micheldever tyres for a new set of rears, came around a bend on a damp greasy road, not even with much loud pedal! Anyway probably a combination of bald tyres and road conditions plus me not concentrating, I ended up pointing the way I had just come and sliding onto the grass verge......with the only concrete post in sight hitting the drivers door amidships! a month later and a new door and it has been returned looking like new..........one of my better moments along with a bill for 5 grand!!

Worst:
a) spot speedbump 1cm before being upon it - cracked front splitter.... tears on my pillow.
b) Cousin giving death stares as the F1 shift in the 355 starts beeping and won't stop beeping and I'm pulling for neutral and it will not go and it's NEVER done it before.

Best:
a) Every single time I see a Rosso 550M - no matter who it belongs to. I love this car.
b) Meeting the crew. And all the fun we've had whenever we've met.

I know the feeling. I was heading for the beach with Mrs Maranello. There were loads of people in their cars and the guys wanted to hear the engine. I floored it(as you do) and got to about 85mph when the speed bump appeared. Speed bump on country style lane??? Got it down to 20mph and heard that painful, gut wrenching sound. I turned back expecting to see the front of the car in the road. Don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. Checked it out and amzingly nothing bar some very light scratches. Jesus, Allah, Buddha I love you all!

Best Moment:

Waking up the next morning after I got my first one (308GTB) and it was still there!

Worst Mo:

Driving home from from a PH trackday at Bedford aerodrome in the 550M. Felt a bit strange at the back - kinda loose - not at all right. slowed down to 50-60 - seemed okay - pulled off into a service station - felt very wobbly....

Turned out that the studs holding the wheels had failed, de-threading all studs. The car had been serviced just 2 days prior to the track day - and new pads (and tyres bizzarely) been fitted.

Not happy with HR Owen. Was told that I had not allowed car to cool - inspite of only going out for a few laps at a time, not using hand brake etc......

Then found out after 2 weeks of arguing the toss with said dealer, Ferrari did a recall of all 550's/456 to update studs.....

Got new set of wheels and studs...thanks very much....

Best Moment. Having my wedding proposal accepted while driving a borrowed 328 around Donnington.

Worst moment. I was 19 years old, and I'd just finished a full major service on a Daytona. The works.... valve clearances, timing chain, distributors overhauled etc etc etc. Customer collects car and is gone for 20 minutes and then phones up to say it's stopped and there's blue smoke similar to a red arrows flypast!

Waited for recovery truck to bring car back, but this then leads to my second best Ferrari moment....it turned out the owner filled it up with diesel! Buggered the accelerator diaphragms but otherwise all ok!!!

Worst moment - don't have one

Best moment - still waiting for it.... when I pick up my first Ferrari...

However, best moment so far was as a passenger, not saying who, not saying which model and not saying where we were bound beyond saying that it was in London, for reasons that will be fairly obvious...

But, we were late, coming back from the continent, Folkestone to London, including quite a bit of cross London driving, early evening, 45 minutes door to door.

Folkestone to Chislehurst took 25 minutes!

Awesome!!!!

Day I picked up my 355. 2 months ago. It was fantastic, but...

I had locked the doors. When I stopped at the services on the way to Brighton for the loo I could work out how to unlock the blooming thing. So there was me and the other half sitting in fron of a packed coach of tourist types frantically pulling every knob and switch trying to get out.
