I'm looking at buying a 355 in the very near future, ideally a 355 GTS. Service intervals are at 12K right? what, in your experience does an average year cost?

The last thing I wanna do is buy one and then have to get rid of it 'cos of the running costs.

I know it'll cost a heck load more that my 911 does!!!

On average about £3K per annum.

Mine was 2.5 yrs old when I got it. The first year cost about £800 the second £5k as I had to have a new exhaust manifold and tyres plus major service.

Don't know yet for sure. Mine's coming up for a cambelt service in May, and it needs a new wing mirror plus a touch up/respray of the front bumper (bloody NCP). So all in all I think it will probably cost around £4-5K inc VAT for the service. I think the most expensive bit is petrol, depending on how much you intend to use it. It doesn't give you much mileage per gallon, and hammering it all the time doesn't help at all. Motorway mileage is surprisingly better. I think on average I spend about £100 a week in petrol, and get about 110miles out of a full tank (about £50 odd quid). I've now done around 5K miles since I've had it, and it feels like its running even better.

I don't think you'll regret buying one.

Ohmygawd, The Red Baron seems positively economical at 24mpg average (one tank, about 50 quid, 300 miles range). How about selling your Supra for petrol money

Considered that, but Manu's antics on Thursday have made me consider selling myself for petrol money

BTW did you get my email regarding ad stuff?

Ninja - I'm ACTUALLY going to KILL you... and then drag you around from your own F355. You asked for it:

I hereby declare to the world:

If only you knew how funny you were. And you tried declaring me the purve to Max, but he turned around said "don't believe anything that man(Manu) says" ha ha ha ha.

Wrong - he ran up to you, tapped you on the back - stood back - pointed and shouted "PERVERT."

Oh DEAR.

Hey Kev, is it OK if Max comes out with Ninja and I on our next night out? He could definitely show Ninja a thing or two...... !!!!

For a small fee, since he would do all the work for you. While everyone's nudging each other & whispering, he'd just go straight in and start talking to her. Then you go and retrieve him- hey presto ice broken. He has to be in bed by 6 tho' .

I think Ajay can back me up on this.... he also patted Ajay on the back, and said "dont listen to that man (Manu)" !!!

And I think Kevin has already suggested Max going out with us lot, but I do clearly recall he said "... to help Manu out with pulling" .

If Thursdays anything to go by, I'd have to keep little Max away from you while you're "at work". He seems to have good taste judging by his exploits on Sunday, we can't have you ruining that now can we? Mind you, "Miss Thursday" looked like she was in love.....?

And Ajay and I KNEW you were clocking the girls at the restaurant on Sunday, and you proved us right! Poor girls, no wonder you took so long to finish your food.

"3 years old a long time ago" old boy, according to him.

Wow this thread moved swiftly off topic. Just to bring it back, make sure you see the service history of the car to ensure which service it needs next. Cambelt changes may have been done early (i.e. mine 10 months bloody early) and the annual service costs only around £600 whereas the 12K mile service is around £1,500. All plus VAT BTW. So check to see which is coming up and haggle the price accordingly.

Does anyone remember Predator?

Does this remind "anyone" of something.... "Stop! you can't go home with your friends, you're coming with me tonight."

or this one, "Come here baby, I want you"

or, I'm sure you'll remember this one: "Want a dance?"

Next time we meet I'm wearing a flak jacket

I've just called my mum to pack my stuff, I'm taking a trip to Copa Cabana to hide out with a friend, will be back when Manu calms down. Unless he comes out there looking for me, or would it be for the drag queens out there, or both? Two birds with one stone, if you'll excuse the pun?
