Looking extremely tasty parked in the High Street as I drove past. Sadly gone by the time I got back from the gym - don't suppose it was anyone here?

To be honest, I don't know! If it was, it had the roof on. It was fairly new as it didn't have pop up lights, but the faired in ones instead.

The reg was P1NK D, if it helps.

aaah no - it's not the one I was thinking of. There's a chap I met briefly some time ago - total looney - totally nice guy - with a yellow Diablo Roadster - based nearish to Harpenden.
Goes by the "name" of Jabba the Hutt!
Some phers know him around here.

In fact Jabba - why aren't you here?

Ref the yellow Lambo in Harpenden; yes it's definitely a local car. The house is in the West Common area and is probably one of the loveliest houses in the area. It is reputed to belong to racing driver Dave Pinkney - which would fit with the number plate. We walked past there the other Sunday afternoon and the Lambo was parked up, along with a people mover thingy which appeared to have the same PINKD numberplate, but I'm sure there was a slight difference in the way the plates were spelled as it's not legal to have the same number on 2 cars - right?!

I think Dave Pinkney has also got an old but immaculate Countach which was at Cars on the Common in Harpenden earlier this year. Not bad selection of motors to choose from.

Weird,
Dan (P111NKK) Pinkney - son of a Dave Pinkney

P.S. I guess racing must be in the Pinkney genes!
