They're cars. Absolutely lovely cars, but cars. The only skill you need is a driving licence.

I think that is perhaps being a bit obtuse. To drive a 70bhp 1400kg FWD hatchback hard doesn't require the skill as it does to drive a sub 1000kg almost 700bhp RWD car. To drive sedately, I'm sure it isn't that hard, but you're going to have to have your wits about you if you want to fully use the throttle.
