To be clear, I don t plan to daily-daily a supercar in London or the South-east. I have a Macan and i3 for that.

But I d still want to do the commute or drive to a country pub once a week in it, and it s just a bit too much of a pain in the 812. It never was in the Cayman or M8 Comp which I owned before (both 2021 cars).

SE is where I live and spend 95% of my time in and most of my fun drives will be around here. If I were to only use the car on amazing empty roads in north wales or Alps or whatever, that would mean using it twice a year maybe. So I m after a spectacular supercar with lots of drama but also some degree of useability.
I think Ferrari has created the 12Cilindri to offer this. 296 as well if you don’t mind batteries and half the cylinders.

Or maybe try an R8 V10. You get the engine drama but with a chunk of Audi easy-to-live with. Or indeed a Huracan with much the same engine and more drama.

If you are going to buy a huracan, then unless you are going on track, tecnica is the gt3 touring of Lamborghini...

I had zero interest in a huracan until the tecnica, it's the only variant that's received universal praise from everyone... I watched every YouTube review and not one was negative before I placed my order...

And looks wise thr tweeks made are just perfect, being end of the line it's been refined and sorted, just like Porsche do with 911 generations..

How is the sound of Tecnica? Can you compare to other supercars you ve owned or driven? And is the storage still non-existent (this is my recollection of a 2018 Huracan I’ve driven)

The tecnica exhaust is soooo loud.... As stock. Many say the loudest factory exhaust. In context, I thought my gallardo was loud in Hatfield tunnel until I drove the tecnica through moments later...I have the pipes disconnected so it is loud all the time rather than above 4k revs, this not so great for long journeys unless that's your thing.

Compared to others cars, lambo engines are unbelievable, the V10 is almost V8 like 3-4k revs, and sounds like a F1 car of old at peak revs

What's storage?

I meant internal storage - door pockets, shelves behind seats, cupholders, glovebox etc

Stunning looking car, by the way.

The same as an EVO which is the same as a Performante.

Insane in other words.

Thanks for all the positive comments

I felt I specd mine to perfection, no cupholders, never drink in my toys, and never really bothered re storage. Shove it in a man bag on the passenger seat, sorted

believe it or not but it was a free paint option - blue astraeus - really worked with the carbon bonnet and with the money saved on paint i got carbon wing mirrors and rear spoiler from factory - super rare options

everyone who has seen it says it is the best looking they have seen with the silver wheels too, was hard not to spec verdi ithaca like my gallardo

and pnm3, that V10 is pure magic, really one of the best engines ever made.... just listen to any journo re any lambo variant, you wont be disappointed
so good in fact that i had to have the last rwd gallardo variant and rwd huracan variant, never ever selling.

I actually went from Perf coupe, to Tecnica coupe and back to perf spider.

Just couldn't click with the Tecnica, much prefer the Performante.

What didn’t you like about the Tecnica?
Like I wrote earlier, Tecnica and Perf are basically my short list at the moment.

yes, please elaborate

i would defo drive both pmn3, ive had a 4wd gallardo and just felt it was too fast and surefooted, the 2wd is ultimately not as fast, and commands more respect when pushing on, but the steering is much better and fun can be had at much lower speeds... its still got loads of grip btw, never had issues keeping up in supercar convoys
