Excellent Rich- sorry I couldn't join you for the fitting. Apparently your face had 'that' look Have you had it anywhere near max revs yet? In a confined space? If you haven't, it'll blow your mind; failing that your eardrums. I've not regretted fitting mine for an instant. Remember that the sound 'matures' as well......

I too am sorry I was able to make it there. I had to sort so much out and didn't have much time as I was trying to get to BTaP before 3pm too. Got there at 7pm. Was really looking forward to seeing your face when it was being delivered back to you. . If this bloody weather would clear up you could do some roof action and really hear the glorious war cry howl and F1 style scream.

glad you got it mate, and look forward to hearing it.

Rich,
Glad to see your enjoying your new pipes
Didn't take long to convince you to go the Tubi route did it

I believe you were at the Motorshow on Sunday. I was there myself, shame we didn't meet up.

What did you think of it???

Jay,

I wa only there an hour and a bit;-)

Well i forgot to see the Bentley and MG SV, but highlights for me were the AMG, ENZO, Spyker and TVR stands. I wish they could have a really interested in cars day where there are less people just gauping.

Not being a snob i just hate wasting time.

How do you decide what to drive?

Most of us PHers lucky enough to run two cars have an animal and something sensible. So most of the time it's an easy choice based on passengers, traffic, security at other end etc.....

You've got a pair of animals though, do you flick a coin or do a porsche in the wet and spyder in the dry kin of thing?

Daz, at the moment the Spider wins everytime. Im sure after last night (I took both out) that the Turbo is unquestionably qucker. But its a hard choice and they drive sooo differently its unreal.

Have to agree with everyone here. Had a tubi fitted to my 550M and it makes a massive difference (sounds like one of the old stealth bombers - very basey) to the enjoyment of the car. Its been on for several weeks now and the sound appears to be getting louder (with back pop to boot). Have recently had the air-filters changed to racing ones and this makes it sound even more evil. People wince when they hear me or turn and stare endlessly as I go past. I love my 550 and, so far, it seems to justify the exorbitant running costs.
