Warranties obviously always pay out 100% of any claim in your world?
Given its supposed only 10 months in to its 36 month manufacturer warranty then id be pretty confident it would,

Especially if buying from a friend who says its fault free and hasn't been damaged from new.

Is the ferrari 296 manufacturer warranty limited mileage or not got any mileage conditions?

This seems like a very low risk deal at a very attractive price.

As for the mileage, these cars need to be driven and they are not fragile. It's a shame the OP only intends to put on 2k miles pa as a daily driver. There's something quite cool about a high mile Ferrari (remember all the kudos around the starship mileage 355?). After all, nobody ever lay on their death bed and said 'I wish I'd driven the Ferrari less'.

Go for it - decent price for a cracking car with full warranty. At your use levels the mileage will correct itself over the next few years anyway (if you're that bothered).

Good read of comments - thank you.

I bought the car yesterday. I am surprised by a lot of points about this car… mainly the sound from the “small v6” engine.

As for my 2,000 mile point... that is purely for work. I will also be driving it more at the weekends etc, but have a few other cars too, so just being realistic.

The car also came with a set of Novitec 296 wheels.

Good choice, pics please.

V6 go and noise is epic, make sure its dry and quiet before you bury the throttle.

Did you get the original wheels also?

As said before, Ferrari in UK is 4 years not 3 years. Ferrari Europe is 3 years.

Great buy, and Ferrari UK is a 4 yr warranty not 3 yr like Europe

Congrats.

As for the sound, I wish my 488 sounded more like that V6.

Great buy - but scary trade-in values are so low for these..

I test-drove one at a Ferrari event and like many others was blown away by the car, engine and performance. The engine had way more personality than I expected.. with the sound to go with.

I did not need a 2 seater.. but with so many on offer at the 200k mark sitting unsold at dealers.. it's a tempting proposition.

Ended up with a GTC4 from Meridian Modena which is just lovely. That engine is something else.
