At the Gala Dinner did the owner of this car ask to have ketchup on his lobster thermidor?

At the risk of being flamed by purists I think the IMSA Gallardo was more Lambo than the Lambo version. Anni Countaches etc. aren't everyone's cup of tea but they are so-o-o-o-o Lambo because they are so-o-o-o-o OTT. The Gallardo - great car - is almost a bit sensible for a Lambo IMHO. The IMSA was beautifully done.

Anyway, crash helmet on and legging it!

Take your point, the G is pretty understated for a raging bull. In the flesh it might work but in the pics it looks a little slanted more towards Max Power than Sant'Agata (imho).

Great pics Phil! Looking forward to your auto-journals write up, although I'll have to put up your 4th Lambo entry first...

On one of the other threads I was amused to see that a Gallardo owner has done an aftermarket "Lambo doors" conversion on his. Brave man, although I must admit I would be tempted if I bought one.

And although I am still looking forward to getting my F430 Spider, I think the G Spider is the best looking modern convertible.

If you're refering to the IMSA bodykit Gallardo then the "door" conversion is only a small part of the work that has been done to that car

The IMSA was on the German G, the "Lambo doors" were on the Italian car.
