TRACKDEMON said: The guilty party was indeed Ninja - his car is bl00dy earsplitting now, flames look quite cool too! Excellent fun, b!g thanks to Ken for arranging it and congratulations to the 550 for keeping up with me - shame nobody else could!! Some of the looks we got were classic... Can't wait to see the vids - manu, you've gotta ride with me next time and we'll get some serious powerslides happening. On that private test track I know

TrackDemon
we were trying to keep the speeds sensible.. plus stone chips, not breaking up the convoy and all that.....
It wasnt hard to keep up.

Guys to hear a tubied 550, two 360's and one insane 355 Spy, plus a TVR and 911 through the tunnels at full chat was just sweet.

Itescol nice when you hit the rev limiter in second.!!!!
Ninja your car through the tunnel with flames on the up shift is something I will remember for a long time.
nice to see the boys in blue can be friendly.. One pulled up to me and said to my passenger..' I'll race you and he started to rev the engine on the Police van

Trackdemon.... you need to take some advanced Road drivers course... Good skills. ps whats that sound your car makes.. is it super charged ?

Looking forward to the next run, again no silly speeds.

Hey Guys,

what a great night - I will not forget in a long time.

Great to see an exact copy of my own car blasting past - you never really get to see or hear that for yourself.

BUT - the tunnels - WHAT can I say? I have NEVER heard anything like it - 4 tubis on full flow...WOW

It was FUN!

Tony - good to see you on Saturday as well. Would you be able to let me have the details of that Le Mans booking company? I'd be very grateful - thanks.
Oh, and will you be bringing the new beast? I sincerely hope so!

RAKS, you're wecome. Any time you want to go out, if the passenger seat is free. Glad you enjoyed it.
I can't think of a single better way (other than driving the new Ferrari F12003 - GA) to get to know these cars. I will not forget that smile on your face through the tunnels...

See you all soon again

Brian

you and Itescol had a personal thing going then.. so just stayed back and watched..
It was good fun though.. bet you need new tyres...
All I could smell in the tunnel was cooked brakes and smoking rubber.. not to mention burning clutches..
still have a headache from all the noise.

Are you into track days ?? cause I am as well so we could always get together on the track sometime..

Cannot wait for the next run.. !!!!!

Brian,

You don't seem to have an e-mail link on your profile... anyway our group is going with xxxxxxxx. We do the VIP camping which is a bit on the pricey side, but has the advantage of good facilities (comparatively speaking) and being able to book up late (all normal camping areas are completely booked by now).

We get a Thursday morning early(ish) crossing... the drive down is not disimilar to Saturday's escapades.

Yeah, that 550 was a rocketship, would have destroyed me if he'd known the roads for sure!
Do I like trackdays? I'd have to with a name like trackdemon! - did Hethel last weekend actually (great fun BTW) so yes, my tyres are not what they were but there not looking too bad thankfully (luckily I can get a full set of Toyo's for £300).

Definately have to head to a track together if your up for it - I quite fancy doing one of the EVO trackdays (there pretty decent value too)...

cheers,
Steve

Can't remember if it's TVR only, but you could try asking "Luca Brazzi" nicely - he has loads of vids at www.sleepy-fish.com
