Finaly bought a fantastic red 348 ts 1993, and I haven't stopped grinning yet. Just over the moon that i've got a Ferrari, my dream car from when i was a kid. Hope to meet up for a drive with some other owners in the neer future.

Darren.

Nice one Darren.

Always good when a fellow car nut gets the car they've always dreamed of.

Obviously keep an eye on this forum and the events section and it'll be obvious from outerspace when the Tifosi on this board are meeting up for a pie and pint.

cheers

DAZ

PS - This board is also very good for technical queries. However strange or stupid a query may seem you can guarantee someone on here either knows the answer or knows where to find it.

I've been thinking of a 348 for some time now, so would be interested in how it goes in terms of costs etc. How many miles do you expect to put on it a year?
Igg
PS. Congrats, by the way - nice one!

Nice one,
I'm missing my 348, although I can only own one "Horse" at a time and the 456 GT is great, I'll be at Le Mans with it this year.

See You there ??

Cheers
G.

Darhart, how are you getting on with it? Can I assume it's a lhd if it's from macari. I am hopefully going to try & get a lhd 348 & would be glad of any info from your recent experience. Just heard the one with the tubi on from Scud Systems. OOOOOOOHHHH

Macari still has it listed. Looks stunning.

All's well so far, driving on the left felt natural after about an hour or so no problems there, and the car feels wonderful. Need to replace some of the brake pads though, anyone know the best place to get them? do they have to be Galfer 3318's as the manual states? As for the buying experience, i did the supposed wrong thing and bought the first one i saw. It was in very good condition and i had it checked out by my mechanic who said it was one of the best he had seen so i went ahead and bought it. The sound isn't bad from it but it could be better how much for a Tubi?

Excellent Darren !!! As has been pointed out you won't stop all summer especially if the weather stays the way it is at present.

If you are looking for a first meet there is the PMFC at Snetterton this weekend. The owners club have a tent with allocated parking and hopefully there will be lots of cars there. If you are not a member and would like to be, you can join on the spot. No credit cards so you need a cheque book. I'm going on Sunday so if you were interested I'm sure we could meet up on the way.

Frostie

BTW - anyone else going ?
