Lovely Still, the guy selling it seems to have the right attitude
On the subject of Ferrari Replicas, take a look at these chassis from the pen of Lee Noble, now they really are

Excellent. I trust you're not cutting up a salvageable car for the engine though I've seen an excellent example with an Espada engine (closer to the P3/4 engine than anything Ferrari have put in a road car) but not a Ferrari engined one (other than on the website.) Enjoy the build and good luck - are you going to do a build site ?

What in christ's name is that supposed to be? My dad's Passat looks more Ferrari than that thing!

I've sourced a 348 engine and box, all legitimate you understand! i would have gone for a V12 but you lose about 4" of cabin space and space is marginal.

Engine's going to get some larger plenums, bespoke air filters and airflow meters and an intersting exhaust which at the moment will be virtually straight through although with a manual Y branch to take it through some sliencers for trackdays

hope is to hit around 350 BHP and 875 Kg's so a nice 400BHP/ ton

That should sound superb 400bhp/tonne and handling (I gather they can be pretty well sorted) should give the TVR boys something to worry about
Are you planning to go for the period racer look or something a bit more modern ? Max Wakefield's Scuderia Filipinetti rep looked superb, but I think the interior's as far from standard NF as you can get !

You know something, I dont think that car was ever meant to be a Ferrari replica ... I think that whomever's "restored" it recently has decided to paint it red and stick a F badge on it just to make it more desirable (in his mind!) now. I think this was just some kind of beetle kit car originally .... (IMO)

Wow, not my cup of tea but look how much work's been put into making it! It may become a collector's item and be shown on the antique roadshow in 2053.

Although this is a fantastic looking car, you must understand that it is a Replica. Please bear this in mind before bidding or making purchase inquiries.I have since been informed after listing the car that it is a Euro spec 360 Modena !!!

Ahhhhh! Now you come to mention it, I can see the similarity.

In fact, if you look at the interior, you'll see the finish isn't that far off what Ferrari achieve:

A lot of love has gone into the restoration of this classic car:

Definitely period racer, roundals, stickers, numbers etc, Interior will be pretty bare to keep the weight down

I'll post on here the address for the build diary once I start!
