I will be there on Sunday and possibly Saturday also. I have been told that the first 100 cars to arrive on Sunday will have the opportunity to participate in a cavalcade around the circuit. Would be great if at least 10% of those had Tubi's fitted

I'd heard that too. What time do the gates open and what time should I get there to ensure participation in the cavalcade? I'll be in (one of the many) LHD Red 355 spiders (manual) - Reg. N897...Come and say hi...

The last two festivals at Brands I got there for 8 - 8:30 and was one of the first. If you want to meet before going in we could meet at the service station at junction 23a. I will probably stop there for breakfast before going in.

Well, that was a good day! Great to see Jay again (sorry we didn't get more time to chat Jay), Frostie and several people from the FOC, including a couple of guys who were on the factory tour with me. Once again didn't meet up with anyone on this board I didn't already know. Shame that.

Being in the parade reminded me of being on the M25- there were just too many cars to get any proper runs (only got over 100mph once) and I spent a lot of it stationary. Didn't help that it pissed it down just as were getting ready to go onto the track either.

Best bit for me was the 360GT. It was following the F1 car around, and didn't sound too shabby in comparison; may even have been louder (F1 car was short shifting). Went to talk to the guys at Ferrari UK to ask them what sort of exhaust it had, if it had one at all. The bad news is that it's specially fabricated and the engine has been heavily reworked to develop 475BHP. Pity. It sounded desperately anti-social and bloody wonderful.

One thing I have to add is thanks to the people in the yellow 360 spider and the blue 550 who passed me on the A14. I tagged along for a few miles then dropped back as discretion got the better of valour; they waited for me a little way up the road, then rejoined when I'd passed. If anyone knows who they were, please thank them for me; it can only have been that they thought I was in trouble or had been held up. Either way I was touched by their consideration. After all, I didn't know them and they didn't know me.

They couldn't! They won't let you out on the circuit unless you've signed a disclaimer (passengers too), which you had to do before 11am IIRC. You didn't miss much anyway- it's much more fun swapping rides at a PH meet. I only hope the spectators enjoyed it.

Fabulous day, most of which was spent drooling over cars and wishing I had enough cash to expand the fleet Not sure about Imola Racing's mods to the 360.

Have to agree with Kevin that there were just too many cars on track during the parade lap to get any decent run and let the crowds here a Tubi on full song.

I think the F1 car was running at about 3/10th's. I was hoping to see a modern F1 car through craner curves on full song but the 360GT car almost looked quicker. The last time I saw an F1 car through there was when Senna made what was probably the greatest grand prix lap of all time. I will never forget the air of disbelief around the circuit when he came onto the second lap in first place - amazing.

Gemini, I'm guessing that was you we saw just as we were leaving the circuit, I was in the green Chimaera following the self combusting orange Taz
Top day though, the F1 car looked, and sounded great but could have gone quicker, the 360 following it looked quicker and sounded almost as good
I don't think I've ever seen so many Rarri's in the same place at the same time,
Bit disapointed I couldn't find the Enzo, F50, or F40 anywhere after the parade laps, guess I just didn't look hard enough, anyone know where they hid them

Just want to echo everybody else's comments. Fantastic day, with some truly beautiful cars on display. It was any Ferrari enthusiasts dream.

I doubt I'll ever get to see an Enzo, F50, F40 and 280GTO all being driven at the same time - PRICELESS. I was a little disappointed with the sound of the Enzo, but in all fairness it wasn't being driven with much gusto. Looks superb in Red!!!!

Great to see the Ferrari F1 car there this year...... And that 360 GT car was the dogs danglies

All in all an brilliant day!!!

Kev,
Nice to meet you again, albeit very briefly. Sorry about that!!! I managed to get some video footage of you booting it down the pit straight - That 456 sounds very nice I might add. Will attempt to upload it and send it on if your interested??? When are you looking to purchase the 355, and I assume it will have the full tubi treatment???
