Just bought my first Ferrari. Rosso 355 97 R, absolutedly perfect in every way, apart from 1. It may sound ridiculous but having test driven 1 about 4 months ago I presumed I would fit in. I'm 6ft 2" and Clarksons taller. I drove off with the roof panel off(GTS) and didn't notice the prob till the next day.
It has standard seats as did the one I drove with the roof on before.
Does anyone know of any way you can lower the seats?

Daft suggestion perhaps, but have you tried reclining the seat differently, moving it back and forth an inch or two and adjusting the wheel?

I'm 6'4" with a 36" inside leg and have no problems. Might be because my torso isn't as long as yours, I guess, but despite my legs being akimbo I find it comfy enough to drive. Then again, I could just have convinced myself of this - the car does that for you.

yeh I've tried playing with the seat pos. and think it's better; but have also felt I could be kidding myself. Hell, on a day like this whose worried about a roof any way.
Long back and stumpy legs is my main prob.If I lean the seat back, my head is behind the cross bar which would'nt be nice if having to come to an abrupt stop.
Steering wheel is a long way off also , probabaly a bit short inthe arm department!

hi there

For your information, Clarkson had the seats changed to the carbon sports seats as they are lower than the standard design.

On the sports seats you can remove futher padding to lower it even more if you so desire
