Spotted in Holland Park - Reg plate was the name of a large ISP so I am guessing this guy is the owner.

V Sexy motor, and almost as dirty as Rich's 360!!

If the plate ended in NET, and it was black then I've just seen it in bits on the approach to the East India DLR roundabout in Docklands.

It looks like the driver was going pretty quickly when they lost it as there were bits of body work and a wheel strewn across the road for about 100 meters.

Fortunately, it didn't look like there were any injuries though.

I just saw this too - they closed the road off completely. Crikey, what happened I wonder...

Dunno what happened but it must have been just before I got there as they hadn't closed the road and there were bits all over the place.

Shame

Glad there were no injuries.....Also saw a pearl yellow Murci outside Smollenskys in Wapping on Sunday afternoon. Absolutely stunning and the best colour IMO. Had to stop and drool......I want one!!!

A few people around work here know the person who's car it was. They'll find out what happened.

Not yet. As you can imagine the person is feeling a bit meek at the moment.

However, I won't be providing any more details as I don't think this is an appropiate place to advertise the reason why someone just stuffed their pride and joy......

Suffice to say he's 100% OK and the insurance will take care of the replacement car.

Fair point joust,,,just strikes me you have to be trying very hard to stuff one of those on a public road..or more than a little unlucky.

I have no idea, but circumstances can quickly overtake even the most limpet like of machinery out there. Diesel, oil and other nefarious substances can easily catch out the best of us.

Just did a bit of surfing as I was curious - via joust's website photos to id company, then found Chairman of the said ISP and came across a chap with the same name who has this site http://funkin.com/features/cars/ with an article about trashing a diablo.

Six degrees of Kevin Bacon and all that....spooky!

Adi - my company and the person (and company) that wrote off the Lambo are unconnected!

Thanks for the link though - I've just sent it to our CEO asking him why he likes JK's music

Suggest that if the owner has the cash to buy a new lambo, then they should have the sense to have some driver training. Even F1 stars require the odd bit of driver training now and then. Glad he is still alive and kicking (well, himself anyway).
