Vandal Damage Estimate Received

Just received the estimate to repair the vandal damage to my 3200 - £3,500! Hate to think what it would've cost if they'd really gone to town on it.

On the bright side, I'll end up with perfect paintwork for the price of my excess.

I leap out of bed whenever i hear someone walking past my house if the Porsche (sorry!!) is on the drive.
Would love to catch them doing it though! Id ring up the lads and get all medieval on them!

About £500 is replacing the mirror the rest is to cover repainting the LHS and bonnet. Sounds like a complete respray would be about £7K.

I'm sure if it wasn't covered by insurance I'd be shopping about for a better deal. However, as it is, I might as well get the best job I can - it should look like new afterwards.

I was more pissed off with myself for driving past the nice expensive hotel (with underground car park) because I only needed to get my head down for a few hours. Most expensive nights sleep I've ever had - could of had a suite for my excess!
