Hi there,

The current stereo in my 94' 456 is knackered - and it's not the same size as most other car stereos. It's only about 3.5 inches deep, so I'm having problems locating a compatable system.

Does anyone know where I can get either a stereo or a sat nav system which will link into the CD changer - which fits?

Any advice or pointers appreciated !

I'd try a breakers yard. There's one near Loughborough that strips 550s before they go to Prodrive for race preparation. Most stereos (including mine ) largely unused, so you should be able to find an 'as new ' unit fairly cheaply.

IIRC most 'rari's come with Becker units (labelled as Ferrari?)

www.becker.de has their current lineup.

Hi mate most becker units people are talking about will not fit your car as it has a separate facia from the main part of the stereo i know sony units can be adapted to fit by a decent stereo company if you get stuck i know somebody in the north who can sort you out and has fitted these units to early 456 s before hope this helps

Alternatively you could fit a Tubi exhaust and forget about the Stereo!?
