Hi
with the new arrival, I guess I should be finding out where to get it fixed for when that time comes. I know about all the main dealers, but are there any independents out there, ideally Fife/Edinburgh? I've had enough oil-under-the-fingernails with the tvrolet (and it never ends!) so I'm not inclined to work on the 4200 myself, but similarly I'm not inclined to pay main-dealer prices for every little niggle. Who do folks use?

Thanks

MP Supercars in Musselburgh - Phil used to be the Maserati specialist for Graypaul, and loves working on them.

Based on northo's recomendation I used MP and they were excellent - drop me a mail if you have any specific queries - the pricing and more importantly the service was very good.

Another vote for MP supercars, those guys really know what the stuff.

Can also recommend Top Gear Cars in Whitburn as they have also carried out work on my GranSport.

+1 here for MP supercars.

They looked after my 3200GT when I had it, and I found them to be good value and technically excellent.

Thanks for the advice - I'll pop down sometime and make contact. I wasn't sure of there was an independent specialist north of the border; good to find our there's two within 30 miles or so smile

Just to update this post ,it seems PK supercars are moving into sales and storage , any other Maserati specialists in or around central Scotland ? , I’m thinking of buying another , but won’t if I can’t find an independent nearby.

I would have no hesitation in steering anyone with an exotic car to Scuderia Ecosse (aka Stuart Roden Motors) in Winchburgh (near Edinburgh). Top guys that deliver a fantastic service at a reasonable cost. They’re predominantly Ferrari specialists, but you will know that there is a lot of technology sharing to Maserati, so I’m sure will have no trouble looking after your 4200.
