So basically looking at the mixed reactions some positive & negative, they are no worse and no better than any other super car specialist?
As stated above clear as mud?
Succinctly put.As stated above clear as mud?
Now you can sit back comfortably knowing how 99.9% of all threads on Pistonheads conclude.

What kind of Porsche u looking for?
996 Turbo i think.I guess like all businesses, you take the good with the bad. Some businesses survive and some go into liquidation.
RSJ - http://www.rsjsportscars.co.uk/opt/rsj_opt.htm
Also 911 Virgin,Autobahn,Portiacraft,Cridfords - these are all Porsche specialists.

I bought my F355 spider from Amari 6 years ago. My boss has bought two Lamborghini's from him to in the past 5 years. There was never any problems what so ever
But to be fair, the guy isn't stupid Chas ... ripping you off would be like stealing Mr T's Snicker bar [quote=nigelw]As other people have been posting , be VERY careful . Maybe you could ask about the last few years trading (especially the "gap" years ) ...unfortunately , we have had bad , direct , firsthand issues ...you will have to read between the lines here ...
What i would like to know is : have any of the people bhing about Amari on here actually dealt with him or is it just jealousy ? Because as i have posted on here before and said i and a few of my friends have bought cars from him and been more than satisfied . I seem to read nothing but general chat about nothing and not about actual cars and their problems . If he was as bad as is painted on here by a certain few he would not be in business today and doing as well as he appears to be . I think it is time to move on from what is getting a very tedious subject .

eh? so only reputable dealers without any unhappy customers remain in business do they? if you have a choice of a dealer with a solid reputation built up over many years and one who has a few horror stories why take the risk with the latter?

Is it really this hard for people?
If he's got a car you like, speak to the guy, get it inspected, get a full HPI done, go through the service history with a fine toothcomb, get all the details down on the paperwork and in an iron clad contract, haggle like fk and then drive off into the sunset.
If something’s wrong with the car your PPI will hopefully catch it, if there’s something odd in the paperwork move onto the next seller, if the deal isn’t right for you move on etc etc etc
He's got a sizeable investment in stuff that anchors him into the market (premises, stock etc) and therefore an awful lot to lose should somebody genuinely have an issue.
I'd be more concerned if he was operating out of a rented house, with only a mobile phone / portable number and a generic email address., but I’m funny like that
And no he hasn’t just sent me a Christmas hamper before anybody suggests it
